hyper and show off

Girls are tempted to want to show off, talk a lot,and draw attention to themselves.

Proverbs 21:23 Whoever gaurds his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from trouble.

The Lord wants all people (& since I'm a girl, I'm applying this to girls) to be quiet and humble and when we draw attention to ourselves we are doing what God does not want us to do. Our whole God-given assignment is to reflect the truth and love of Christ and draw people to him.

1st peter 3:4 " rather let it be the hidden preson of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, wich is very precious in the sight of God."

This verse teaches that a gentle and quiet spirit are precious in the sight of God. Obedience to this command will both please God and set the stage for showing others what it means to be God's woman.

Yes, I agree with you. So many people don't cover up there body parts and get all those "Cool" clothes to atracct men and other people and that is NOT what God wants he says to have long hair (so many girls look like boys now days and boys look like girls with there long hair.) and to be modest. It is such achallenge now to even find a swimsuit that covers up the middle!!
