Beatiful Sunday

Good Morning All!! Praying that God blesses you today with a light and happy heart!! I will share my devotions on this Beautiful day. "Jesus gave us His peace for our protection. We are to "hold our peace" and "let peace be the umpire" in every situation. (Exodus 14:14, Colossians 3:15) We should "crave peace and pursue it" and be "makers and maintainers of peace" (Ps. 34:14, Matthew 5:9) If we want to experience God's power we MUST resist Satan's attempts to stir up strife. The Lord wants us to live in peace with each other, yet such life often eludes us. We were created to live in the love and excitement of harmonious relaionships, free of dissension,confusion,and hurt. God wants our lives to be FREE from all of that!! Do we REALLY want to be alienated from each other? We can live as one in coexistance, our hearts entwined through our love for the lord and his works. I myself find that PRAYER and more prayer can tear down walls faster than anything. We must be careful that we don't stir up strife..for we are all brothers and sisters in the Lord...does he want to see us gossipping about someones house? what someone is wearing? how their children act? what church they go to? NO NO NO!! He wants PEACE and LOVE. "Mark and blameles man and behold the upright, for there is a happy end for the nam of peace." Psalm 37:37 God says that His children will inherit, peace, joy, and righteousness. The kingdom of God consist of the things, but FEW who claim Christ actually experience the benefits. Satan lies, beguiles, and decieves believers through our lack of knowledge and awareness and our unwillingness to apply the knowledge we have. Hope you have been inspired in some way...I think I just got carried away a bit!! |
