I would like to share of a wonderful Bible reading plan I've come across.
I have struggled for years with my devotions. If, you are like me, the moment I get up I start thinking of answering e-mails, what to cook for dinner, a load of laundry, books to the library, bills to pay......... I am sure you are getting the point. I would get so busy that all I did was maybe read one small Psalm, then I would give the excuse to myself that I already knew that story...... or I can't understand it, why read it?" For years I have felt the guilt for not getting this right.
I have had my own share of serving my family out of an empt platter. What I mean is, I need to be well fed (spiritually) in order to give my family the love and nurturing Abba called me to give them. Personally, I have seen a tremendous difference in my walk with Him, and my outlook in life.
I am reading Psalms, Ecclesiastes, Isaiah, I Corinthians in my own personal time. DD and I, read Torah together before she starts school.
Hebrews 5:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
