Apr. 16, 2007 - Every Day I Will Bless You....

Before this site looses me....... I better post this. I have not been able to log in in lately, most of the time it won't even load. I do hope this goes through. If you don' hear from me in awhile,  it's probably because I can't log in. I have had this post ready for awhile. Here we go......

I love this Psalm, and the way the Psalmist speaks of God's awesome acts. Praising Him every day, and proclaiming who He is. Notice, in verse 4, "One generation will commend your works to another" How will they proclaim it? By hearing from us parents, first.

I noticed, when I speak good, wholesome/ positive words, concerning life's situation, events and people, my DD will do the same. When I speak something negative or express negative feelings of others, or situations..... she might be inclined to make the same remark I've made. In order to instill in her the desire for Godly things I must first make a point of talking and praise Him throughout the day.

My heart's desire is for  my DD and her future generations  to proclaim and speak of Him with passion and enthusiasm. For this to happen it needs to start with me first.

DD, danced to this song at the passover dance with the teenage girls. It was so beautiful! I sure wish i knew how to publish a video here! Kathy Sooster" song: "Everyday I Will Bless You"

1  I will exalt you, my God the King;
       I will praise your name for ever and ever.

 2 Every day I will praise you
       and extol your name for ever and ever.

 3 Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise;
       his greatness no one can fathom.

 4 One generation will commend your works to another;
       they will tell of your mighty acts.

 5 They will speak of the glorious splendor of your majesty,
       and I will meditate on your wonderful works.

6 They will tell of the power of your awesome works,
       and I will proclaim your great deeds.

7 They will celebrate your abundant goodness
       and joyfully sing of your righteousness........

11 They will tell of the glory of your kingdom
       and speak of your might,

12 so that all men may know of your mighty acts
       and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.

13 Your kingdom is an everlasting Kingdom

     and your dominion endures through all generations. The LORD is faithful to all his promises and loving toward all he has made.........

21 My mouth will speak in praise of the LORD.  Let every creature praise his holy name  for ever and ever.

It's a huge responsibility that we carry as parents, isn't it? What a heavy burden at times! It's an awesome thought, knowing that we are being continually watched by little eyes of adoration and wonder. "Please help me Lord!" is my continual prayer.

Blessings!

Thank you for sharing, that is a great reminder! What a huge responsibility we have.

I'm glad you were able to get that to go through, now if we can just get those pictures to work!

Blessings!

My mother is a very critical person, so I always have to be on guard to check my words so not to be like that. A very good reminder.

Oh, how beautiful that must have been to watch your daughter dance and worship God in pure praise!

Well, to not be critical of HSB, it has stretched me (and all of us) in patience. lol

About Me

This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty. I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
