Roses and Tea

May. 19, 2007 - Being Thankful Saturday

The psalmist said:   1. Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And all that is within me, bless His holy name.
    2. Bless the LORD, O my soul,
         And forget none of His benefits;
I am so glad I can stop once a week to reflect on the past seven days!
It helps me to ponder more of His great care for me, even when, it's something so small.  If, He knows the stars by name, and if he knows how much hair is on my head; how much more is His care of minor details in my daily life!

This week I am thankful for:

_ Extra money from our tax return. As most of you already know, I am planning to go home sometime in the near future.

_ New digital camera:  We have had a cheap little camera for 7 years now, and lately here it decide it had enough of us.

_ Computer: What would life be without the Internet? Having friends here, especially the ones that come by regularly just to say hi and comment, being a support. Your little comments this week, were so up lifting to me. (This was a very busy week for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart)

_ My trip to downtown: I don't like to drive through down town at all. I get very nervous, especially when I have to find a place that I have never been to before, and finding a parking space......It was the Lord, I would not have made it without His help.

Immigration Department and for laws: This is what keeps America safe.

_ For the nice lady at the immigration office: She was so nice and sweet to me.

_ For eternal Life: What a precious gift we have been given through our Messiah.

(((((((Thank you Abba, you were with me every single moment this week)))))))

What a blessing you are to all of us! I'm glad you survived your trip to the big city, and that you had peaceful interactions at the immigration office. Hmmm, I have tried to think of the 2 things that are different....Is it the miscarriage and the leaky pool? I will agree that we definitely have a strong heart connection. Kinda like when John jumped inside of Elizabeth's womb when Mary told her that she was carrying our Messiah! :o) Enjoy your day!

Blessings,
Lori

oh yeah, I will do the "Fiddler on the Roof"quiz soon.

About Me

This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty. I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
