Jun. 9, 2007 - Being Thankful
O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever. Psalm 118:29
I am thankful this week for:
Music - The Joy of being able to hear, and express my inmost feelings to my Creator.
For my Library – I grew without the privilege of having a nice library where I could borrow books to take home. I am so grateful for this gift.
Daily provisions – we lack nothing, we have so much more than the rest of the world.
Freedom – Freedom, to sing, dance, shop, drive, protest, read books, walk, to talk about my God on this blog.
For growing up in poverty – Yes, there was a time in my life when I did not appreciate or talked about growing up in poverty. Thank you Abba! What a privilege! Yes, it was hard, no doubt about!
Mercy – Oh, how grateful my heart is for such love and mercy. Where would I be if it wasn’t for His mercies towards me.
Health – Wow, what else can I say about this? Truly a gift!
