Jun. 17, 2007 - Being Thankful!
Psalm 68: 4 Sing to God, sing praise to his name,
extol him who rides on the clouds —
his name is the LORD—
and rejoice before him.
5 A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows,
is God in his holy dwelling.
_ Today being Father's day, I am thankful for my earthly father- I did not grow up with him, but I am thankful for the few memories I have of him. He was a very loving man. "I have missed you a lot daddy."
_ I am thankful to my Abba in heaven- When I did not have an earthly father, You were there protecting me, for assurance that I was yours, I was not alone.
_ I am so thankful for my DH, His love and dedication to God is very evident in his personal life. He has cared his cross in life, with much grace and humility.
_ I am thankful DD has a Daddy - He is a wonderful father to her - "Any man can be a father, but it takes a Real man to be a daddy" He is: loving, compassionate, caring, understanding, a teacher and a friend to her.
I am blessed above and beyond. Life and Freedom are a gift, I never want to take for granted.
