"Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua." Philippians 4:6-7 (CJB)

I did this post this morning at the same time Jenn did hers......so, I started making my rounds to my friends when I saw she had a new post ........ I then decided to start my rounds on Jenn's blog ......I get to her blog and she has a Wordless Wedenesday with words, so I made a comment about it..... now look at the comments I received for not saying a word LOL. I often wondered, what in the world was a Wordless Wednesday, because we women have so much to say all the time
This picture was taken in 2005, at our precvious hs group. The lady in the back is a Pastor's wife in India, her husband is good friends with our family. They were here on a Missions trip about India. It was very exciting to learn about India that day. She allowed the girls to try on her Saris. One thing we learned that day was that India has over one million gods.
How neat is that?! I think Saris are so pretty, lovely fabrics.
I've worked for Indian doctors before I love the way they talk. One woman physician I worked with got the saying all confused when we would get really busy. She would say in her Indian accent of course "we are running around like chicken heads!" instead of "we're running around like chickens with their heads cut off!" I would just die laughing, it was so cute!
How is your passport stuff going? I saw a story on the news about all that mix up last night.
Twice a year we have an Indian meal, India-style. We dress up in saris and the guys in their outfits (I don't remember what they are called), eat authentic Indian food (made by an Australian missionary to India who has lived there 20 years or so) who comes to speak to our Discipleship Training School students for a week twice a year. It is one of the highlights of our time here.
This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty.
I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
