"Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua." Philippians 4:6-7 (CJB)

This last week was so busy for me. I can’t believe as to how much has happened. I wonder if I am coming or going.
We had a wonderful fourth....... the next day I cleaned the house, packed my bags and left for Ohio......I'm back.......Hot in Indiana ......... Oh boy, does it feel like Brasil!!!!!!!
OK, for the wonderful news. (*K* -singing - God is so good, He is so good, He is so good to me)
Today, I had an appointment with the USCIS (U.S. Citizenship and immigration Services), they took my finger prints. Wow, things have changed.....I got to the machine and she entered my name and with a blink of an eye, there I was, cool
The lady took, three impression of everyone of my fingers and one of each hand, can you believe it? I asked her if she would allow DD to take my picture while I was being finger printed, but was denied the request, no cameras allowed. :(
When I was done, I asked if I could ask some question and she directed me to the same lady that helped me before. She was so nice to me……. The wait time for the process is about 9 months, I won’t be making to the next Oath ceremony. The good news, this lady asked me when I was planning on going to Brazil, and I told her this fall or sooner. I asked if I could leave the country and she said: Yes. I asked if I would need to make an appointment to have some sort of stamp on my passport, since my green card is old, (but not expired) and she paused for a moment and said: have a seat (she took my passport with her to another room)……waiting…….waiting……. she called me and said my passport is stamped and I can go anytime I would like, within one year. I don’t even have to show my old green card. She thinks because the wait is so long that I will be back before they even call me to the interview. Well, now I got to pack my suitcases….. Finding the tickets on sale is my next step. They are booking for the end of August…..I am thinking that I would like to go by the end of September for mom’s birthday, which is September 30th. I can’t wait!
This week is going to be very busy for me. I have some planting to do, my FIL. gave me some plants. I need to sell my books on E-bay, finish ordering DD's books and I need to get my house in order for I might be having family coming over next week. So, I will use c-box most of the time.
Have a wonderful blessed week.
Yippeeeeee! Oh no, that means you won't be here to blog. Bad for us, but great news for you!!! Congratulations. Let's have a blog party when you are official. Praise Him for this kindness!

Oh *K* the Lord is so wonderful in His blessings to us. I am so happy for you. Wow, all taken care of right then and there so you can go on your visit. The Lord and His ways are just so unbelievable sometimes. That's to bad no pictures, but of course we want as many pictures as you can get when you go to Brazil. :)
God answers prayer, God answers prayer, God answers prayer, He's so good to me! ;o) I am so happy for you. You do realize that you kept me up past my bedtime. LOL. It would have been worth the wait. What kind of a friend am I? I should have stayed up. ;o)
Hi "K"
Congratulations on becoming a United States citizen! My DH spent three years in San Paulo, Bazil when he was a young boy. His father worked for Eli Lily then. He speaks so fondly of this time in his life.
God Bless You,
Karen
I'm so glad that you got such wonderful news!!! Now I will just pray that you will find cheap plane tickets. What a wonderful idea to go at the end of September. Your mother will be thrilled to have you there for her birthday!! The Lord is good!!
Yes God is in control and God is soooooooooo GOOD. (0= I am so happy for you my SSiC. You will have to take LOTS of pics. Yes these hoops of immigration I know them well. (0; Same scenario but different country. My friends that were in Brazil as missionaries were in Contiagem for 18 months. It was not what they thought it would be. They thought they were called to spread the word of God which they did. But God had called them there to clean up some lies in the program they served at. When I listened to their story I just cried. They WAS is a spiritual war and God was in control. They are here for two months seeking healing and prayer for direction. They are happily willing to go back to Brazil but they are waiting on God's direction. Their names are Kim and Ian if you would like to pray. They loved Brazil my SSiC.
Oh K, I am so very happy for you! What super news! You must be on Cloud 9 - and probably will be for some time to come. I know you said before, but I forget, when was the last time you were in Brazil?
I will be praying with you about finding just the right tickets at a low price.
(((HUGS)))
If you enjoyed Miracle at Moreaux then you will very much enjoy Friendship in Vienna. We have learned a lot from watching both of them and will watch them again in our upcoming school year as we study all the Old Testament Biblical Feasts. We are really looking forward to this and learning the Jewish traditions.
I am beyond excited for you! God goes before us in all we do...this gives evidence of that right away.
Wow! You are a busy little bever right now. Let me know what books you are looking for, I have some that I am getting rid of.
Also...you have been tagged! go to my site and read the directions, if you hate this kind of stuff don't sweat it. Have a great day and God Bless you and and your household!
This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty.
I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
