~The Living word~

"Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua." Philippians 4:6-7 (CJB)

“The philosophy of the school room in one generation will be the philosophy of government in the next” Abraham Lincoln

~ Being Thankful ~

"Give thanks to the LORD, call on his name;
       make known among the nations what he has done.
Sing to him, sing praise to him;
       tell of all his wonderful acts."
1 Chronicles 16:7-9

Wow, it's already two weeks since I wrote a Being Thankful post. It's been busy!

My heart is over filled with Joy to my Abba in heaven, He truly deserves all praise. He has answered some prayers this week, some of these prayers were from the cries of my heart. Thank you Abba!

 I'm grateful for the past, with all it's trials, they have only helped me see more of my gracious creator. More than ever, I am thankful.  He can turn someone's ashes into His beauty, only he can do it!  "He who begin a good work in you will continue......." May you never stop working in me.

 I'm thankful for the flowers around my house. We have been blessed beyond what I had ever imagined. I found some flowers on-sale, we were given a full flat of annuals by a friend at DH's job, my friend Lori game some perennials and my sweet FIL, loaded the trunk of our car with perennials from around his house. Living with a fixed income I could only buy so much for the outside of the house. My heart is bursting with gratitude. Thank you Abba!

 This past week we celebrated DD's birthday, I'm so thankful for my DD, she is a wonderful friend to me. .......Friends forever........

 My Visa, I can go home any time. This is a miracle! only the Lord, for this could not have taken place for at least nine months. I have been on cloud 9 all week. Thank you Abba.

It's worth repeating.....I'm thankful for: shelter, food, modern conveniences, freedom, my car, for DH's job and overtime this past week, for life, hearing, vision, health and for friends who care.

(((((((((Thank you Abba))))))))))))

I wanted to mention that I wrote on my blog today about honoring the traditions of the Old Testament...I'd love your input since I believe, it is your family that does this??

It has been a crazy busy week, but I am so glad that we can pause to take time to recognize the blessings that our Lord has given to us. God is good all the time. Can you believe that the kids are going to be off to Idaho for that work camp in a couple of week, and then when they return, school will be starting on the 15th of Aug. I need to boogy to get some curriculum in order. YIKES! Oh, by the way...I miss you too! ;o) (((hugs)))

Blessings,
Lori

This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty. I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
