~The Living word~

"Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua." Philippians 4:6-7 (CJB)

~ My Interview and Test Today ~

I am so blessed by my sweet sisters here in this small Cyber place we call HSB. You all are so wonderful! Thank you for the e-mails and c-box messages about my test today. After the test this morning DD and I did some shopping and then she had a bowling game this afternoon, this is the reason why I haven't been on. You are all so kind, I'm sure you all are dying to know the results......

......I PASSED.....
The test was so easy, I was asked ten questions and could miss only 4.... well, I didn't miss any, I got 100%.

The interview went like this:
_ Lots of personal questions about my life.
_ Sign papers.
_ English test
_ History/civics oral test
I can tell you that DD and I, know a lot more about the American government than we did before Sunday  Did I tell you she found a CD on the back of the book with all of the manual on it? ..... I don't think I could have passed this test without that CD, I don't study well reading from a manual.
The next step will be the oath ceremony, then I am an official American citizen, can't wait! I love this country! May God continue to bless America and our beloved troops.

I wish I could visit you all this evening, but I have a class this evening, life has been very busy here.
(((((brazilian hugs)))))

Being that today is 911, may we never forget this day, may we never allow what
happened 6 years ago to die, the future generations should be told. I wish they would make today an official Holiday. I am always very sad when this day rolls around. I sure wish my test wasn't today..... how odd is it that it was today..... Every year my heart mourns for what took place on 911.

I know my post is getting very long, but I would like to ask you all to remember my best friend's son who is in Iraq. He is her only son. There were 30 troops in his division when they first went to Iraq last winter, there are only five left and he is one of them. PM me if you would like to know his name to pray for him.

May the Lord bless our troops! We are very proud of you guys

I am so happy for you. When is the oath ceremony? That is just wonderful news. And, truly, I think it's kind of special that your test was today. For so many different reasons.
I will keep your friends son in prayer. How very sad that there are so few left from his company. I pray he makes it home safely. :)

I'm so happy for you. I am praising the Lord for answering our prayers. I thought it was really ironic that you took the test today too. I'm continuing to pray for your friend's son. Love ya sister!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! :) I am so happy for you!!!! You deserve this so much. I have seen natural born citizens that are less American than you. I am so glad you will be able to be a citizen along with your family.

I will pray for your friend and her son. I pray that he survives and that he comes home to his family.

Celebrating with you my friend !!! Doing the happy (((dance))) too. Wow I thought that it would be a longer test. The Canadian Citizen Test was 20 questions and you had to get 60% right. So that would make it 12 correct. I don't know my score . They only told us that we passed.

Today our ink for the printer has come in I think. So hopefully we will have a working printer by tonight. [0=

God Bless my SSiC

This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty. I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
