Nov. 19, 2007 - My Blog's First Anniversary

This picture was taken by me, at Mom's house in Brazil

Well, well, ....what do you know? I can't believe just one year ago, with much fear I signed up for a Blog of my own here at HSB. I wasn't sure of what to expect, the idea of having my own blog sounded neat and yet very challenging. This first year has been a year of observing, learning and getting to know others bloggers. Learning the Internet culture has opened a whole new outlook of life for me.....This caused me to stop and reflect about my accountability as a believer in the Internet, as what I say and others read, will reflect my Master and His teachings. "Iron Sharpens Iron"

I tend to be a more private individual in the Internet, I have chosen to not talk too much about my personal life this has even included using my real name. The next year ahead comes with some changes -  after much thought into this I have decided that I am very tired of signing my name as *K* so as a gift to blog world I am beginning my second year with my real name......"Drums Please"...... Ok, some of you already know my name but for the ones who don't know its Katia.

The other change is a dream in the making (time will be a factor).  I would like to turn this blog or create another to write about Brazil only. More and likely it will be this blog, since I have lots of entries and loads of pictures about Brazil already here. With this in mind I am also changing my Blog's name, as you noticed when you first loaded this page. I love the title Following Rabbi Yeshua, because I love Him and I am His follower, but feel it's time for a change, I might get back to it if I can't get used to the new title.
***I will keep this Blog as it is, until I can decide what I will do about my dream. Just the name is changed for now.

So, to all of my wonderful blogging friends, I would like to say: "THANK YOU"
Thank you for reading my Blog, for the support, love, and friendship you have given me.   May our friendship continue to grow and grow. May the lord richly bless you, and may we all continue to grow ever so closer to Him."
(((((Hugs and Blessings))))

Wow, happy anniversary! And now you need to take guesses on how to pronounce your name, right? :-) I'll not tell. I can't wait to see the changes. I will enjoy getting to know more about Brasil.

Hello Katia! :) It's great to be able to say that. I like the idea of the 'gazette'. I think it would be great. Congratulations on the one year anniversary. I'm blessed to know you and to have you as a friend. :)

Oh I love the new idea. I can't wait to see what the Lord will lead you to share ! I am SO sorry I am late in visiting. I have been swamped with getting ready for the craft fair this week end. Please send up a prayer for me to do well. I need this to pay off my Kitchen Aide Mixmaster. I don't want to be in debt over this.

HAPPY AMERICAN THANKSGIVING MY SSiC (((Canadian/American Hugs)))

Hello my sweet sister!

So, you are no longer anonymous! Woo hoo! Were you able to go to your FIL for thanksgiving. I was praying that you all were well enough to go. I tried calling you Saturday evening. I have to work full time this week. I am praying that you are getting your crafts and hand made gifts whipped out. I finally got all of Ashley's quilt finished. Now all I have to do is the binding on it. Have a wonderful week.

Love ya bunches,
Lori (your long lost sister)

About Me

This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty. I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
