"Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua." Philippians 4:6-7 (CJB)

Today for S&T, I would like to share with you some of my Crazy quilts projects. I love quilts and throughout the years I have been experimenting with different methods and patterns.
Back before DD was born, one of my sister-in-laws gave me the red stocking with lace on the top for Christmas one year. I loved it so much! So, when DD was born I decided that we all should have a quilted stocking.
My sister-in-law's stocking
This is DD's stocking. I used several different stitches and also used charms, buttons and beads to decorate hers.
This is my DD's stocking, I decided to use only one kind of stitch. Here is another project I made a couple of years ago. It's done by hand, and by machine. This took me a little awhile to complete it. Shortly after my sister-in-law gave me my stocking I friend gave me this book as a gift. This book has a whole chapter on crazy quilts.

I love learning new stuff and I hope to be able to work on some kind of quilted project this year. B/c everything is so busy that I am almost thinking of breaking up HOW first year into two years. I REALLY want my boys to have a VERY firm foundation in the OT.
Blessings and ((hugs)) my SSiC and friend

Thank you, my dear friend, for your prayers at this sad time for us. I am being kept strong by the knowledge that my mother is in the Lord's care now and is reunited with her loved ones in Heaven.
DS is being brave, but is showing little "cracks" in his composure when things go wrong! He is trying hard to be "the big, strong boy" he thinks we want him to be, but I'd much prefer him to let out his emotions - after all, it takes a big man to cry!!
We are travelling to Wales on Tuesday and staying until after the funeral on Thursday - I have to see my consultant on Friday morning, so can't stay longer, unfortunately.
Thanks again! It is lovely to have such good friends here at HSB.

My goodness my twin! You've been a little blogging queen while I was away. I love the crazy quilt stockings & vest. You are a great seamstress. From reading over your New Years post, I am now hungry for some more junk food. Looking forward to your sharing some of the Brazilian recipees. It was a great year. I too have been abundantly blessed by the many new friendships that I have found here on HSB. Even more blessed that I got to finally meet my twin. We are definitely two peas in a pod, that's for sure! I miss you too, and I am trying to find a way to balance everything in my life. Hope you have a great week!
This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty.
I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
