"Don't worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving. Then God's shalom, passing all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds safe in union with the Messiah Yeshua." Philippians 4:6-7 (CJB)

Well, after much thought and prayers, many prayers. I have come to the conclusion that I will blog here just very part-time. I have absolutely loved being here, reading your blogs and getting to know wonderful people who's hearts are full of love for the Lord. I have grown and learned a lot about different people, places and things, and also made friends for life, which makes it very hard to post this post.
As most all of you know I have had so many problems loading blogs throughout this whole year. As people add more and more gadgets to their blogs and make nicer templates and add cute graphics to their side bars, add Slide Shows and so fourth, it becomes next to impossible to load their blogs, some days even the c-boxes takes forever to post a message.
I am not really sure what the deal is, for I don't seem to have this much problems as I visit other blog places. So, commenting has become a huge time consuming thing. If, I am to comment on most friends blogs it's a good portion of my day. I do hope people won't take offense of this. I am really happy for pretty blogs, it's just my own dial-up and my time that are in the way at the moment.
I have so many other things I would like to accomplish and this is one that takes my time away from what I want to do. I want to be wiser in how I use my time as a homeschool teacher and administrator of my home.
In the last couple of months I received so many nice comments from friends of how much they look forward in reading more things about Brazil. As I kept praying and trying to hear the Lord on this I have felt that I will maintain this blog just for part-time blogging. I am not sure how I will do this, maybe I will keep it updated mostly with entries about Brazil.
I have truly hesitated saying all of this, as not offend anyone. Let me make sure everyone understands me on this, I value your friendships and of course I won't totally give up I will still stop at your blogs and comment.
I hope your Monday is full of sweet surprises.
Blessings,
(((((Brazilian hugs)))))
I wish these things didn't take so long too. Thanks for being a friend. You have to do what you have to do. Don't be sorry for being your best. If you get an extra few, pull one of us up while folding clothes or something and say hi. Big Hugs, Christy
That is so very sad to hear, but I do understand. It's always good to lay everything we do, even fun things, at the Lord's feet and let Him show us the time we are to spend on them. I will miss seeing you on here, and I do hope that you get the things accomplished that you want too. :)

What to say? I am so sad you are having such trouble visiting blogs. I am probably much to blame as I add so many things to my blog all the time! But I do understand your need to be wise with your time. I have a fast connection and I still spend way too much time on the computer! Ok, well, I pray that you will either find a solution or not be away too much.

Oh No My Brazilian Friend, say it isn't so. Oh you will be missed, but I do understand too. I can remember how it was before we got DSL, very slow; and even now there are a couple blogs that take so long that I start to go into them and then just walk away for a while while they load up and come back later to view it. :) You will be greatly missed not seeing your sunshiney visits as often, but I will keep checking on you for sure.

I'm sad to read this, but totally understand. Don't feel bad. Your home duties come first. We have a huge responsibility as Wife, mother, teacher, etc... as the list goes on and I think it's awesome you placed it at our Lord's feet in prayer. I will always have you in my prayers and hope you will still visit once in a while or drop me a line via email. Thank you so much for all the wonderful advice and your friendship which I cherish deeply.
You will be very missed but I REALLY understand :) Your email addy is bouncing back to me but THANK YOU for my very special uplifting card the other day. I will try and email you again tomorrow.
Oh, and we got the penpal letter so we will get another one in the mail this week.
I hope you do find a way to blog with us. I am so sorry that you are running into obstacles. I look forward to your Brazillian photos and stories too.

I totally and completely understand. You need to do what God is prompting you first and foremost. I am sure you will see many blessings come from this decision. Lori
Thank you Sweetie for your comment. It's never too long dear...never too long.
I understand and empathize with your situation. It hasn't been that long that we were able to have DSL and sometimes that's slow! How long did my blog take to come up? what could I remover that would make it easier for you?
I also wrestle with how much time I can blog/email etc. It can suck an entire afternoon away before you know it. We strive to get school and chores done first before any media can be seen (computers,tv, radio). My blog friends are a link to the outside world for me especially in my dark days. I have IM and leave it on so I can talk to my hubby or friend when I need to at a moments notice. It has literally saved my sanity a few times.
I'm praying for sunshine for you. Have you considered tanning? we have a tanning bed at the little store in town and it's so reasonable and a life saver for me...vitamin D can help too. I also have coffee with a friend some days. Take time for you to recharge, it's important and don't forget to spend time with our savior!
This Blog is about my life and the different adventures that I experience being a wife, homeschooling mother, homemaker, friend, and daughter of the king of the Universe. I am a follower of Yeshua (Jesus' name in Hebrew) He was born a Jew and lived as a Jew on this earth. It's because of him, and his incredible love towards me, that my ashes were turned into beauty.
I'm a native of Brazil. I have been married to my DH, for 22 years. We met while he was there on a Mission's trip. We have one wonderful 13 years DD.
