Especially For Moms of Younge Girls!

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

I purchased a devotional Bible for my girls for Christmas! The name of it is God's Little Princess Devotional Bible.I recommend it to any Mom of younge girls! We are really enjoying it! It has stories from The Bible written in form for them to understand alittle better. Then it has different sections. It is set up for them to realize what a Princess they truly are to God and how to act that way! There is a short play that goes along with some of the stories. They tell you the simple props you will need and gives you the script,we add lib a little. Then there are ? about the story. The book also has Beauty Tips. Some other features of the book are,My Hero,Down in my heart,I Adore You,Princess Charming,Worthy of Love and Royal Truths. All of these help promote the story and your daughter to grow in the Lord.It helps her see how awsome it is to be a Lady Princess of  and for The Lord! I think I even benefit from it myself.

I purchased our book from Wal-mart I am always keeping my open for good fun ways help my girls learn more about Jesus and how He wants them to be! I think I found a good one this time!

I just thouhght I would share!

Until next time

Bethlehem Live

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

We went to see Bethlehem Live in St. George Ga. this past weekend. It was awsome! They had it set up like you were walking into Bethlehem! We had to pay our taxes as we went into the gate. There were soilders walking around, vendors selling and giving samples,we loved that part!!! It was a wonderfull experience! They also had a play about the birth of Jesus. It all got me to thinking about how Mary and Joseph must have felt.Mainly, Mary, here she had just given birth to a Baby!I It was her Baby, but He was also her Savior.Oh and what a wonderfull thing as He grew she never had to get on to Him.I know she did not understand all He did,but what ever It was was Right!!! I don't want to praise her it was all and still is all about Jesus! With that in mind,I do want to say,she must have been quite a Lady.God chose her out of all the other ladies to bare His Only Begotten Son,Jesus Christ!!!! Would we have been chosen if we would have been living in that time? I would love to say yes,I would, but I doubt it!! I pray Jesus will make me the servent He wants me to be.And even though I can't have that service to do for Him,He does have a service for me to do.Please Lord help me to do it to the best of my ability for Your Honor and Glory!

Until next time

Living My Dreams

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

If you don't get the  Far Above Rubies magizine, you should! I love it! In this issue, there is a story of a lady who was watching her daughter play like she was married and had a baby.I'm sure all you moms have done that with joy in your heart.I know I have. The lady writting the story, said she began to think how that is what she used to do.Dream of being married with a family. And she realized she was living her dream come true. Now her daughter was doing the same!

I myself did the same thing growing up! All I wanted in life was to Serve The Lord, get married, have babies and take care of my family! Well I"M LIVING MY DREAM!!!! God gave me everything I ever wanted and so much more. We may not have a lot of money or the newest or fanciest of things,oh but I am so blessed! How many people get to live their dream? I know somedays in the hustle and bustle of life it may not feel like such a dreamy life,oh but it is!!!! How much more the joys than frustrations! I have been praying that The Lord will will let me see my life as the Precious gift it is and live it like that everyday! If we remember that this is our dream come true I think we can do a better job and be so much happier! Lets show our daghters it is well worth having the dream of being that Prov.31 Lady!!!!!!!!! And then living it when Jesus gives it to us!

I think every little girl dreams also of being a princess.Well, have you ever thought about we are one.Jesus is The Prince of Peace. So we are His Princess! And one day we will move into the castle, our mansion!!!!  YOO HOO!!!!

Remember to love and have the relationship withThe Lord as He is your Prince and your His princesses. And remember to be so thankful for the prince on earth he has given or will give you, your husband.

Until next time

John 3:16

For unto us is born this day in the city of David a Savior!

Wanted to share this with you,it's wonderfull! All of you "Okeechobee people could most likely quote it with me,but maybee it will still be a blessing!

There was a younge boy standing on the corner trying to sell papers, but he was so cold he wasn't selling many! A policeman came by and asked if he would like a warm place to sleep. He said sure I could use a warm place to sleep I sleep in a card box around the corner. He said you go to that big white house and knock on the door, when they answer, just say John 3:16 and they will let you in.So he did just that and they did let him in.The lady that answered the door led him to a fire place and set him in a big splitt bottom rocker and went off.As he sat there,he began to think John 3:16 I sure don't undrstand it,but it makes a cold boy warm. Later she came and got him and took him to a big table just full of wonderfull food.As he ate he thought wow the only food I've had is what I could find somewhere behind a store.John 3:16,I don't understand it ,but,it sure makes a hungry boy full. After he ate the lady took him upstairs to a tub full of nice warm water. He thought to himself the only bath I've ever had is when I would stand in front of the fire hydrent when they were flushing them out! As he sat there and soaked he thought I don't understand John 3:16 ,but it sure makes a dirty boy clean! After his bath she tucked him in to a big nice soft bed pulled the covers up around his neck and said good night,as he laid there in the night he thought,John 3:16 I sure don't understand it,but it sure makes a tired boy rested! The next morning the lady came and brought him down to the same big table to eat again. After he had ate she took him to the same fire place and took out a big family Bible. She asked him if he understood  John 3:16.He said no.She began to tell him about Jeus! Right then and there he gave his heart to Jesus! He thought I still don't understand it,but John 3:16 makes a lost boy saved!

You know I don't understand how God could die for me raise again and save my soul, but I'm so thankfull He did and He wants to save you too!He will meet our every need if we just let Him,Just trust Him today!

Jesus' coming to earth as a baby  is Christmas!!! And John 3:16 sums up why He came!!!!!!!

Merry Christmas

Until next time

Wow what a day!

We had a wonderful but full day! We had a Christmas party with my Mom's family this morning, then a birthday party for my cousin this afternoon. And last but not least the girls were in the parade tonight doing baton! We had so much fun! I have to say I have the very best twirlers in the world! They both did so good! This was Steph's fourth year and Alissa's first! We had to walk so far,and they both did it with smiles,no complaints! They had a great time.We were far enough at the from we even got to make it back to Daddy and Buddy and Precious and watch some of the parade!

I guess the Christmas parade is one of our Christmas traditions as well! What a great way to spend time with the family!!!

Christmas Traditions, prayer request and an answer to [rayer

For unto to you is born this day in the city of David,a Savior !!!!!!

Ok today I am going to share with you my favorite Christmas family tradition!

We started this back about 5 or 6 years ago! Every year on Christmas Eve we gather and read the Christmas  Story and then get out paper and pens.I purchased a clay jar with a cork lid that has Prayers written on the front! We all write down our prayer request and put them in the jar! Through the year we put new ones in there as they arise! We pray over the prayers that night and all through the year! Some  are still in there from the first year! OH but how God has answered prayer! There have been many prayers answered out of there! We always open the jar and see what God has answered before we put new ones in on Christrmas Eve night! Now I know we don't have to put our prayer request in there to get them answered and the jar has no power.God does all the answering, but I do think it is good.It pictures us fully giving them over to God! And it gives us somethingt o actually see! I love that the kids get to see how God has answered their prayers! And there have been several of theirs that have been answered!!!!! God IS SO Good!!!!!

If you decide to make this a family tradittion please add a friend of mine to your jar! And if not please just pray for her! Her name is Sabrina Yeates!!!!She is a dear friend and is going through some tough times physically! Please remember her family as well!! We love you Sabrina!!!!!

Also

One of our prayer jar request got answered just yesterday!!!!!! We heard about the old Methodest Church building, here in Bryceville that we have been waiting to hear if we could use to meet in for Church! We are going to be able to use it !!!!!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!! We have to wait until May to began using it,but atleast we know we will be able to use it! Thank you all so much for all the prayers! Please continue to prayer as God works for His Glory!!!!!!

Until next time

The laughter of children

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

Oh my goodness,we had a ball putting up our tree last night! We usually do it the day after Thanksgiving, but we were running a little late this year.We always do this as a family and we always enjoy ourselves, but this year,I don't know it was just awsome!.Maybe it was the kids  ages! We played Christmas music, the girls danced around, and Jon wrapped the girls in wrapping I had around my brakable ornaments. The girls and Jon and myself were laughing and just enjoying each other! I began to think how blessed I am to have that. There is nothing like it.After the most important part of Christmas,Jesus, our family is the greatest part of this time of the year! And our children top the cake! I hope you all enjoy your family and this time of year!!!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Come back tomorrow for more.I'll be sharing decorating tips, family traditions, and other fun stuff durring the month of December!

Being an encouragement to our husbands.

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

I love being a wife and Mom.It is the most rewarding job and privalage I have in my life. I want to be the very best I can. My wonderful husband has never been a well,I guess, handy man or Mr.Fix it. He has had a desire to learn how to be more of that.I always try to encourage him he can do anything! He has been working on some things and I see much imptovement! He just recently built, from plans to built a shed for our pump house, all by himself! And there are other things he is getting done! He has always been a great husband and if he never would have been able to accomplish all he has,he still would be great! It does him so good to have  done this though! When he tries and fails at things,I encourage him to try again! When he accomlpishes it I tell him how proud I am of him. It is so important to tell our husbands how proud we are of them, and really love them good. Now don't let me mislead you.I have not always done well, at this and have made plenty of mistakes.Oh,but when I do get it right,it is so worth the big smile on his face! Even things like him telling me he loves me or doing something sweet with the girls,or pushing my hair back and kissing me on the forehead. It helps to tell them thank you and you like it! You may get it more! This type of love and encouragement also works great for our kids! They need it all so  much as well! And the smiles you get our awsome!Even our friends and those we may not even know well could use it too! Couldn't we all use some encouragement! Try it and see for yourself. It may even make you feel better to encourage someone else!

A Tribute to the Veterans!

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

Yes I know I already have bloged to day,but I could not pass the opportunity by to thank our Veterans for all their sacrifice for our freedom. The older I get the more I understand the great price they paid and how much and what they were fighting and dieing for.I appreciate them more and more everyday as I see our freedoms threatened more and more! My hat goes off to you all.All those who died and your families. All those who served in wars and your families. And all of you who served in any way ,like those who were trained and willing to go ,but never had to be in war, your still just as much of a hero, to me,as any of them!

Thank you all and God bless you!

May we never forget!!!!!!

Wanting to be like Mommy!

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

One of the many joys of Motherhood to me is my children wanting to be like me.There have been many times my girls have told me they want to be like me.I love that! It does bring great responsibility! Which, just being a Mom does that! The latest cute I want to be like Mom came from Alissa.I was french braiding her hair for Church on Sunday. She told me "Mama,When I am about 16 you need to teach me how to do this, cause when I am a Mama I won't know how to do it! " I just thought that was too cute! It did make me think of how important it is to teach the girls how to be great Moms and wives,in everyway!  I guess the best way is by example.Lord help me be a good example to my daughters and help me teach them the things they need to know for the life you have prepared for them!He does have a plan for their lives and it is our duty as Moms to prepare them.We don't know that plan ,but GOd does and we must seek Him daily for guidance!

Until next time

Encouraging Words from my Father and a prayer request!

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

Ok to start off I am so dissapointed about the election yesterday!I have to say I was very heavy hearted! I woke up this morning and began to pray and have my private Bible time. The Lord led me to II Kinhs 6:16 and 17.It says And he answered,Fear not: for  they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said,Lord I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see.And the Lord opened the eyes ;and he saw:and behold the mountain was full of horses and chariotsof fire round about them. This gives me much comfort! I know God is still on His Throne and can not be voted off and did not have to be elected to begin with! I don't know what tommorrow holds but I do know Who holds tommorrow and He is mine and I am His! I am safe in Him! Are you?

Now for the prayer request

We,as you know, started a church in Bryceville. My dad actually started it and we jumped on bored! Anyway, we have been meeting in his home for the last year and a half.We think The Lord may be opening a door for us to meet in an old Methodest Church building. We are so excited! Please help us pray.

Until next time

The Lord Takes Care of His Own!

Children are an heritage of The Lord!!!!!!

Well as I wrote to you a couple of days ago we were a little concerned about our neer future concerning Jon's hours at work. The whole wharehouse has been effected but Jon is in Quality controll. That is mainly a support team for what has to be done like order fillers and things. Therefore his department is being hit more.We were told that he would most likey loose 8 hrs a week.He did have to come home two hours early one night and one hour early another night.Last nght he got to stay the whole time!!!!

There are some people on his shift that still live at home or have wives that work as well. They have taken voluntere time off for some of the hours. That has freed up hours for Jon and others who need it to work. We still don't know how everything will play out,but it is looking better! And GOD is STILL in CONTROL! Thank you all for your prayers and notes of encouragement! We realy appriciate it! Please keep praying for us! We love you all!!

Until next time

Jessica
