Sorry, Real Life has intruded again. leaving my muse stymied and my leisure time very much contracted. I have, however, a small peace offering....the first couple pages of the next chapter. You can read them here.
It seems that much of the busy-ness will subside next week, and I hope to get the chapter finished before too long.

I just have to say that I absolutely love everything you have up so far, and while Emma isn't my favorite JA story, (that goes to Persuasion, sorry :)) you give so much more depth to everything than I could have ever dreamed of. I also love reading the stories that are from the hero's POV, so this story is fast becoming one I check for updates on a very frequent basis. I can't wait for your next chapter, since poor George has figured out how he feels, so I want to hear whats going on in his head when he next meets up with Emma. Please don't keep me in suspense too long :)
