I have the first four pages of the new chapter done. Should I post them now or wait until the whole chapter is done? I often post sections early, but now I'm wondering if it makes the reading of it too choppy. What do you think?

I would vote for posting them now. I always go back and read each entire chapter as it is finished, which eliminates any choppiness for me. But whatever you choose to do will be fine with me -- just as long as I get to keep on reading this wonderful story!

I love this story, which is so well written and engaging and Austenesque! Anyway, I think it would be perfectly acceptable to post the first four pages, if you are satisfied with them, here to your blog at least. What else are blogs for?

When the chapter is finished, you can then repost them here and also post them in other places like DWG and CHW. That way your most impatient readers who are eager for more can have a taste of what is coming to tide them over, and the rest can read the chapter in its entirety when it finally appears.

Regardless of what you decide, though, I'll be eagerly (and impatiently!) awaiting the next delightful installment.

People like me look every day for a new chapter. When it's not there, I may re-read the last. If there's a part-chapter, I'll read that and hope for more soon!
BTW: which channel is this new version of Emma on? (pardon the sentence ending with a preposition!). I have only limited cable but perhaps I can visit someone who has the right one. Or, perhaps it is available on the internet? Please let me know!
