Jul. 21, 2007 - Photo Hunters "TINY"

The Photo Hunters theme for today is "TINY". I was having trouble finding a photo but still wanted to play along! I settled on this picture of robin chicks that my daughter photographed earlier this year. They are "tiny" compared to their mother but you will see that they grow very quickly...
THIS PHOTO WAS TAKEN 6/5/07 - The 1st day we discovered they hatched.

The baby robins flew away on 6/16/07. The last 2 seemed to leave the nest reluctantly, with some prompting from their mom! It was fun to be able to watch them grow from eggs. The nest was in a small, ornamental cherry tree in our front yard, we were able to take pictures just standing on a step stool.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you came up with!

I love the series of pictures you have here of the robins. A matter of how many days and they spread their wings.

Gosh it feels like forever since I stopped by. I've been out of the blogging loop too long! I wanted to stop by and thank you for your prayers after our accident. I really appreciated your comment. Also, I haven't forgotten about the Blogger Reflection Award. I am so honored that you passed it on to me and feel badly for taking so long to respond! I hope to get to it soon!
Blessings,
Angel
