Great is the Lord and greatly to be praised, and his greatness is unsearchable! Psalm 145:3
I was challenged in my devotional time recently to write out praises to God using the alphabet. Blessings, attributes or specific praises could be included. This excercise in praise is based on Psalm 145 - where each letter of the Hebrew alphabet (save one) is used.
Here's my list....
A - awesome power
B - Bible
C - care
D - deliverance
E - eternal life
F - faithfulness
G - grace!
H - holiness
I - infinite wisdom
J - justice
K - kindness
L - Love!
M - mercy
N - never ending forgiveness
O - omniscience
P - perfect will
Q - quiet time
R - righteouseness
S - salvation
T - The Trinity
U - understanding
V - victory over sin!
W - wonderous works
X - X-cellent!
Y - Yaweh
Z - Zion
(those last three were tricky!)

We did this a few times in a women's bible study a few years ago. I have also done this in my own personal time with the Lord. It is a unique way to praise & thank the Lord. Hopefully I will get a chance to post my alphabet of praise soon. Thank you for sharing this idea...
