May. 23, 2008 - The Smell of Fresh Bread
Two long weeks ago my trusty Breadman bread machine gave out. It was a birthday gift about 5 years ago from a generous friend and it has cranked out dozens of loaves of warm, crusty bread along with batch after batch of pizza dough.
With the price of EVERYTHING rising these days, it was not the time for me to run out to the store and plunk down $100 + for a new machine. I prayed that God would provide one for me and today he did.
Jordan was bugging me all day to take him to a garage sale he saw advertised in the paper. They listed they were selling a Palm Pilot that he wanted to check- out. Finally, around 3:00pm, we drove over there - it was my first garage sale this season. I spied it right away --

Guess what the price was?...
$5.00!
She had the owners manual for me and even threw in a bread machine cookbook!
The Lord truly wants to give us the desires of our heart! Our first loaf will be Cinnamon Raisin Bread and if all goes well we'll be enjoying it tomorrow morning about 7:30AM!
PS. He never bought the Palm Pilot.

Hi don't you love little blessings like that?! I keep having one after another and I tell my children," see Jesus loves us so much that he even cares about the little things."
Thank you for the advice you left on my blog. It really helps!
Take care, bless you--Jessica

Hi! Amy,
I am so glad to hear that you were able to get that bread machine. God is so good and cares about all our needs and desires.
I think your playlist is cutting into your posts and a part of them is missing.
I hope all is well with you and your family.
It has been a while since I had a chance to stop by.
Blessings,
Ruth
