Many thanks to my friend Angela at Homeschooling and Lovin It for the "You Made Me Smile" award!  That's a little blessing in my day to know some one is still reading this blog!!   Hey,  she's given something new to post about too!  Isn't this cute?....

I have met many wonderful people with wonderful stories to tell, and I am grateful every day for each person that I have the pleasure of crossing paths in life with. Jul. 11, 2007 - The "Friends" Feature...

Some of you die-hard bloggers know about the FRIENDS button but just incase you don't I'm sharing it with you because it's too good not to!   This feature is so cool and it recently became useable again for Homeschoolblogger's!  (Thank you HSB!!)   So,  if you haven't hit your "friends" button in a while scroll over and click it .  ( It's the one in your sidebar under LINKS  that hasn't worked in the past year)  When you click it you will get all the most recent posts from anyone on your Friends list!  It's so fabulous!  What a timesaver.  

If you have re-done your template and you no longer have a "friends" button - you just type in your blogs URL and then add a "forward slash" and then the word "friends".  For instance, for my blog I would type:

www.homeschoolblogger.com/workinprogress/friends

 You can still comment too - just click on the comment line (it will look like your blogs "leave me a comment" button) and when you post the comment it will go to your friends blog.

You gotta try it!  It's too cool.

Jun. 20, 2007 - Blogger Reflection Award

A super, young woman, who goes by SuperAngel, has awarded me the "Blogger Reflection Award"!  I feel very honored to have been picked and I'm sorry it has taken me a while to complete this post and pass on the award!     Find out all the details about the Blogger Reflection Award and it's rules right

Here are the 4 blogs I would like to give the award to and they are in no particular order:

1.  First, it goes back to SuperAngel.  If you think today's teenagers are superficial and/or rebellious please go read her blog, you will be surprised and blessed!  She is a young woman who is growing in the Lord and not afraid to tell about it!  I wish I had her passion for God when I was her age.

2.  Second,  I really enjoy Mrs. Wilt's blog.  I rarely venture out of the Homeschoolblogger blogworld but she is a Christian woman full of creative and great ideas with a heart for God.  I can't remember how I found her blog in the first place but I'm so glad I did.  Go visit The Sparrow's Nest.

3.  Third,  Ruth at School at Home.  Ruth was one of the 1st Homeschoolbloggers to be my "friend" (meaning on my friends list) and I have enjoyed getting to know her this school year.  She is honest about her walk with God and she has a kind and encouraging spirit seeking to please the Lord.  I know you will enjoy "meeting" her family.

4.  Fourth is EEEEMommy.   Whether she is blogging about her family, school, current world events, or the Lord, she is posting from the heart.  What a fun family and a great Christian lady.  Her blog is called "For the Sake of the Call". 

 And there you have it.... these are the blogs I have reflected upon and would invite you to go visit.  Each one is special in it's own way.    And thanks again to Amanda for giving me the award and her sister, Jocelyn, for coming up with it!
