Jan. 4, 2008 - Photo Hunt - Delicious
It's a new year and since I have been totally quiet on this blog (mostly due to "busy life" and partially due to "uninspired to write anything"), Kayla talked me into playing Photo Hunter again. We thought of a photo right away....
We hosted the dessert portion of our church's Annual Progressive Dinner for the Youth Group and we had a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN! And judging by their reaction.... it was totally delicious!

I haven't been able to play along the past two weeks but I'm back and hope you enjoy this entry....

Jul. 21, 2007 - Photo Hunters "TINY"
The Photo Hunters theme for today is "TINY". I was having trouble finding a photo but still wanted to play along! I settled on this picture of robin chicks that my daughter photographed earlier this year. They are "tiny" compared to their mother but you will see that they grow very quickly...

The baby robins flew away on 6/16/07. The last 2 seemed to leave the nest reluctantly, with some prompting from their mom! It was fun to be able to watch them grow from eggs. The nest was in a small, ornamental cherry tree in our front yard, we were able to take pictures just standing on a step stool.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you came up with!

Jul. 14, 2007 - Photo Hunters "SHADOWS"
I'm back with a new Photo Hunter photograph! This weeks theme is "SHADOWS".
This photo of my family was taken in October 2005. I was disappointed about the shadows across our faces... until now! I think the leafy shadows cast from the tree fit in great with the theme for today.

Jun. 16, 2007 - Photo Hunters "HAIR"
Today's Photo Hunt Theme is "HAIR"! Our youngest has had hair "issues" since he was a couple weeks old. He has a natural part in the middle of the back of his head. It has caused him many a compliment about his "rooster tail"...
And here is what he thought of his first HAIR cut!....

The theme for Photo Hunters today is "ART". These are 2 charcoal drawings done by my daughter when she was 13 years old.
She used an Art curriculum called "Draw Today".

Hi Everyone. I have been neglecting this blog a bit and missed last week's Photo Hunt but today I'm back with the theme "COLORFUL". Searching through some pictures from last year I came across this one....
and you know me, I can't resist posting a picture of one of my kids! It is very colorful though.

May. 12, 2007 - Photo Hunters "FIVE"
This weeks Photo Hunter theme is FIVE. Look closely and you will see 5 deer in my backyard!
This is especially unusual since we live right in town! Our property is only a half acre but backs up to a teeny, tiny woods. Prior to this we had seen maybe 1 or 2 deer and we have never seen this many since.
