I have FOUR children... how can I decide on just ONE photo?!! I narrowed it down to these because, to me, they show my kids enjoying childhood and just being KIDS!

Apr. 27, 2007 - Photo Hunters "RARE"
This weeks Photo Hunters theme is RARE. Unfortunately for me, it is RARE for my 2 year old to take a nap these days! I took the opportunity to snap his photo...
... then I made an Ice Coffee and enjoyed a RARE quite moment!

Apr. 21, 2007 - Photo Hunters "STEPS"
It's Saturday and that means... time for another Photo Hunters scavenger hunt.
This weeks theme is STEPS.
It's fun theme that I'm sure we'll see many creative "takes" on along with some great photos -- but for me this was a no-brainer. I thought immediately of this picture:
Here we are, 17 years ago, on our wedding day. The steps are on the veranda of the Garlock House where we held our reception. We were able to go back on our 10th anniversary and celebrate with a special meal but, sadly, it is now closed.
Happy Photo Hunting - I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone came up with!

Today's Photo Hunters theme is CLEAN.
The boys were asked to clean their room today - here is their idea of "clean"....
"Your not fooling me with that innocent smile... I see that stuff shoved under the bed!"

Mar. 31, 2007 - Photo Hunters "WATER"

Today's theme is WATER. Had a hard time deciding which photos to post but I decided on these taken at Watkins Glen State Park in Watkins Glen, NY. This beautiful State Park has a 2 mile long hiking trail along an awesome gorge that boasts 19 waterfalls along the way.
If you go, be prepared to climb hundreds of steps that take you take you across bridges, under waterfalls and, if you have the nerve, all the way to the top!
Notice some of the steps in the photo above.

Wow! This week flew by! Time for another Saturday Photo Hunt.
Today's theme is "EMPTY"
Ever notice how much fun a kid can have with just an EMPTY box?
This last photo shows the 3 boys decorating there "new home" which
was the huge, empty box our new fridge came in! Can you
believe the delivery guys were going to take the box away...think of
all the fun we would have missed out on!

Mar. 17, 2007 - Photo Hunter "DRINK"
This weeks Photo Hunter theme is "DRINK".
These photos are of my, then 3 year old, son enjoying a blue slushie one evening at a roller skating rink.
I always loved that picture of him - I remember him being so pleased that he could have his own slushie like all the big kids were having! The bottom photo is him with my dad.

Mar. 9, 2007 - Photo Hunters "ARCHITECTURE"
This weeks theme is Architecture. Here's hoping you enjoying this EDIBLE ARCHITECTURE we saw on display at a local historical home that holds an annual "Gingerbread House Show" during the Holiday Season. The bottom photo is my proud 6 yr. old with his own creation!
