Anyway...yes, we were unable to play at the birthday party...because I could not get off of work...Ughh I cannot begin to explain how frusterated I was!
But God is good...and He had a reason...

Yes...we ar no longer in quarintine...and we can finally see the sun!
Alas..it is true...we have not practiced as a band in FOREVER!
I guess just getting school started...missions trips...being out of town...and chicken pox...and Lord knows what else...we have not had the time to do much of anything!
We still see each other...considering we all go to the same co-op...not including Christina...

Sorry, I just had to type that. It is an inside joke.... never mind. Anyways..... WOW I am so glad to be back in the groove of schooling. Not that I am totally exctied about school, but I'm glad to finally have a schedule & have everything settled down (well to a point)!!!!!
Well, the band hasnt gotten together in 4evr... which we need to do( Hint! Hint! Heather, Hannah & Joel)!!!!!!!!!!!!! But maybe we can get together sometime soon. I think Heather has written a few songs. If so we really need to get together and practice those.
Actually we were asked to play @ a B-day party, but Heather & I couldnt get off work. BUMMER!!!!
Well, anyways, there is really nothing else to talk(type) about.... OH !!! I guess you saw where Heather said that we (Me, Heather & Hannah) got the chicken pox, well they are GONE, G-O-N-E .. GONE!!!!!!!! Except now I just have to deal with the scars, but they are almost gone 2. So most everything is going good.
Well one more thing 2 say. As yall know, October is Pastor Appreciation Month. So I just wanted to give a shout out to my Youth Pastor, Jon ... Jon, you are amazing!!!! You are such a blessing to have as a youth pastor!!! Your messages have changed my life dramatically. Thank you for all that you do for the youth group !!!!

Hey everybody!
Yes, believe it or not the swamp monster has not devoured us, and we are still alive!
We have not had a practice in a long time, but thats because Joel has been in Africa...and We...Hannah, Heather, and Christina...have all had the chicken pox!
we are over it now...but it was a dreary 21 days!
So anyway...our confinment is up on the 17th...and so we will finally be going back to church!
I caint wait and neither can Hannah, or Christina!
I got a horse! Her name is Kai...it means "a Woman who leads a Godly life"
I want to use her for whatever God has planned...and to touch other people!
She would be an amazing therapy horse...I just have to move her to a different barn...Where I am at right now...the lady is VERY strict...she does not allow anyone else...other than the owner to handle the horse...unless it is an emergancy!
Anyway...I can understand where she is coming from...she does not want anyone to get hurt...or a lawsuit!
Which is fine with me...Kai is not trained yet, so I caint let anyone handle her right now anyway...but as soon as she is, well...lets just say that she is going to see lots of little tushes on her back!
Anyway , I had better go!

Me and my fam had a good time over in kansas. Then we went to horse camp....man...that a memory i'll never forget. and now i can't wait to get back to school....no not really ....summer went way toooo fast

Sry I havent blogged in so long. As you can see our summer is PACKED!!!
WOW!!! I am definatly in Georgia !!! It is soooooo hot !!! The high has been aroung 100 every single day. It is crazy. I guess I'm just not used to it. Man, I sure do miss everybody in Virginia. Anyway, I will be in Georgia until July 25. So dont expect may bloggs fom me this summer, although I will definatly do my best.

We all have been VERY busy so far! Caint you tell by the way this blog is kind of neglected?
Christina is in Georgia right now for the summer...at least until August...
Joel going to south Africa for a missions trip July 11th...as of right now he is busy at home..
Me and Hannah are leaving for our month long traveling in 2 days...
We are going to Kansas (July1-9) and then to horse camp (July10-15) and then to deaf camp...yes I said DEAF camp (July16-23) and then me and my mom are going to Atlanta, Georgia for a homeschool convention...(July27-30)
So as you can see...our blog will be a little more neglected than usual...
But we are still here and alive...

Hey Y'all,
Just blogging because I'm bored. Can you tell ? Anyway.... I am so excited that summer is here. Not really about everybody going their own seperate ways for the summer, but just being able to have some nice, free time with family and with God. Summer isn't here for me yet unfortunatly. I have about a week, then softball will be over (unless we do all stars, which we probably wont) and I will have an almost empty schedule !!!!
But I've been thinking, with the fun of summer also comes the laziness of summer. Now, I'm not the one to talk about being lazy, so I'm sort of talking to myself when I say this, but since we do have so much free time then I think we need to try to give God our "free time". So like, if you bored and you dont know what to do, will it hurt if you go and pick up your Bible and read 1 chapter. Then see if you have found something to do. I dont want to say this like God is a last resort, but if you do that then you've spent more time with God & you have overcome your boredness.(so to speak) I have been trying to do that and its sort of like I have my devotions throughout the day. You dont have to, I just know I usually have a better day the more I read my Bible. Anyway, just some tips for the "fun" of summer. Hope everybody has a great summer !!!!

How is everyone doing?
I am good! we just got back from Georgia...it is so hard to believe that I will be going to collage in the Spring (2007)
And that I will be graduating!
I am really excited, but not about having to leave everyone behind, especially the band!
I'm gonna miss everybody!

is going to public school in the fall, so that he can get in on their track team...otherwise they will not allow him to be on it! But I must say that Joel is going to be a real asset to their team...and more power to him!
For the summer...mainly becasue everyone is going on missions trips and going back home for the summer...(take Christina for example...she is going to Georgia b/c her family lives there, they are here in Va, only becasue her dad is going to law school...one of the finest in the country...at Liberty Universtiy)
Me and Hannah are staying here in Virginia...but we will be gone to camp, and family reunions most of the summer.
So in other words, for June, July, and august there will be no "Band" just the notion of it...but no performances! on account of nobody being around, and everybody being at least 300 miles away!
Anyway, I had better go for now! I still have to unpack from Georgia!

For those of you who don't know Heather, she is the founder & leader of our band, Aurora. She is also the guitarist and one of the singers. She is one of the finest young ladies you will ever meet. Heather is one of the main reasons Aurora has gone as far as it has. Thank you Heather,

Hey Ya'll
Aurora will be leading worship for our youth group on Wednesday May 17th.
We are really excited as it will be our second on stage performance.
Just pray that God will work in and thru the music, and singing, and everything that goes on that night.
Our #1 goal is to gloify God thru our talents...Just pray that we do!
Also pray that people will not see us up there and that it is completly God in and thru us!
Thanks for your prayers so far. God is really growing each and every one of us in a more devoted and fervrent spiritual life.
We are learning more and more daily as we get together and share about what God has been teaching us...
For me, personally, God is really teaching me that the fellowship of believers is sooo important...And when you are not surrounding yourself with good influances and Christian leaders...you WILL fall in your spiritual life. I have experianced that for myself and one of my good friends is experiencing that as well...unfortunatly she is letting the devil establish strong holds in her life, of bitterness, and hate...
She doesnt even know it...But the only thing you can do is pray...
I love the passage in Mark chapter 9...towards the end Jesus' disciples tried to cast a demon out of a little boy. They tried and tried...with everything they did nothing worked.
Jesus aproached them and asked what the matter was...and he said "BRING HIM TO ME"
( I love how Jesus says that, it reminds me of how when we have trials and tribulations, Jesus is standing there saying BRING IT TO ME)
At the end the disciples asked Jesus privatly, why they could not cast the demon out, but Jesus replied..."This type of demon can come out by nothing but prayer"
It just reminds me of how nothing is gong to get better unless prayer is a #1 priority.

Sorry for the delay in blogging...everybody was really busy during spring break!
So what is your favorite holiday?
Mine is Easter! Wanna know why?
#1- Because to me it is an example of victory over sin and death!
#2- Because my faith is not in vain!
In 1 Corinthians 15:12-22 talks about how if Christ did not rise again then our faith would be totally in vain...but becasue he rose again our faith is not in vain...
And becasue he rose again, we are no longer held under the bondage of sin and death...we are free...even though we do not act like it...we are free but by choice we sin and sin again...without second thoughts that we dont have to go back to our old self...God has freed us from all of that...so we need to start acting like it!
So anyway, before I bore you to death....I have to go but always remember your faith is not in vain!

Hey Yall,
WOW !!! Yall are probably questioning my title. The reason for this is.... Well, I have been reading through Leviticus, and man, there were soooo many rules and regulations that they had to follow. I imagine it was hard. And if they did just the littlest things (according to the world not to God) the would have to make a sacrifice or make bread in a special way and let the preist eat it to pay for their sin, or they would have to go away from the camp for a certain amount of time. Yet we as "New Testament" Christians are always complaining about how hard the Christian walk is. I know I am really bad at it. That is even more of a reason to be thankful for Jesus dying on the cross . Not only for being our one and only eternal sacrifice but so that we won't have to go through all that trouble of sacrificing. I mean it was God's will, but still. But I guess there are many good aspects to it as well. Like, could you imagine how close they were to God. Having to be so holy, and close to God ?!?!! I imagine it was also really neat having God right there at camp in the taberancle. But we also have God living with us if we are Christians. So I guess there are two sides to the coin. Anyway , that is what came to my mind and I thought I would share that with yall. Well thanx for reading. And at least trying to understand.

I am so glad we have this site. This is my first time on it. Anyway, I tell you what, having this band is a blessing. It was answer to prayer.
A few weeks before Heather asked me to be in the band I had been praying that God would show me a talent that I had that I could use for Him. Then I learned how to play the paino. Then not long after that Heather asked me to be in the band. It was like everything fell into place. It was amazing.I was so glad that I could take my talents along with others talents and use them to show His love and the joy you can have if you just follow Him !!! Any way. Hannah and Joel, yall need to blog. It is a must on your priority list !! Just kidding. Well I will see yall tomorrow at Home School Group !!!

So I have been learning a lot lately about honoring God in everything I do and say.
I myself am so not worthy to be a daughter of God, but I am becasue of God's grace.
He is my creator...He deserves all of the credit, and praise.
Look at it like this. Lets say that you have a new boyfriend/girlfriend...what is the first thing that you are going to tell your closest friends? About your boyfriend/girlfiend...and then they have to sit for an hour and listen to you go on and on about this person that they may or may not know or have even heard about.
We have a creator...someone who loves us more than our own parents, or boyfriend/girlfirend could ever love us, He sticks closer than a brother, and he even died for us when He knew that we would bring discrace to his name daily.
He wants to be involved in our day to day existance...Do you really think that God created his best creation only to get the "Short version" from Priests?...Do you think that if you created something from nothing that you would not want to be involved in that thing's or person's life ? God does, He wants to know what is going on...Yeah He already knows everything, but telling Him everything is a sign of depending on Him...Which as His creation is what we are to do anyway.
As I said earlier, I am horrible at honoring God in everything I do and say...I am not the most greatful person in the world..And I am not the most sensitive person either...I like to do my own thing, and not go to people for help...
But gradually god is teaching me to give all the Glory to Him...That is where it is due.

God is teaching me a lot right now...I have been going thru the book of Acts...it seems that every time I read that book, I get something completly different than the last time! It feels like I have never read it before!
I really am experiencing brokeness, and God is showing me more and more what is and still holds to be true even over the generations...And how to base All of my beliefs on the Word, and not on people's opinion...
