Countdown in over

Today was the final day for teaching in the co-op class.  It was bittersweet.  One little boy was very sad when he found that I was no longer going to be his teacher (which was made me feel kind of good) and of course I'll miss being called mommy by 6-8 little ones.  But at the same I feel a little freedom that I haven't felt in awhile.
I'm sitting here typing and all three of my children come in the room.  The 2 year old asks his 6 year old sister to read to him and the 4 year old.  There's a sense of pleasure in hearing her read to her little siblings and a definite sense of pride in her accomplishments.  Thinking back to last year and what a struggle we had with the reading process and knowing how far she's come.  (I had to chuckle she told her brother to listen because she may ask questions at the end).  What little pleasures the Lord allows us.  thank you Lord for the joy of children.
