Return of the wayward blogger Penned on Feb. 1, 2009
I'm very sorry for my absence the past week and a half--apparently blogging through Masters wore me out. In any case, we've just gotten home from the first tournament of the year with no casualties suffered. I'm very happy to be home again, even if we won't be here for long--we've been out of town so much since the beginning of the year, our Christmas tree is still up. No kidding.
To supplement this otherwise dull post, y'all can check out a video blog from the tournament. Laugh, enjoy, and ignore the NCFCA lingo being tossed around.

George: The Movie Penned on Oct. 11, 2008
After much anticipation from eager viewers, the time has come to post the George movie. You don't know who George is? Well, you should watch and find out.
(My sincere apologies for the poor sound quality, not to mention the video. This was done in a moving van with a camera that wasn't intended to film movies. So be forewarned that, if you want to hear what's being said, you'll have to have your volume cranked up...)
There you have it! Turns out filmmaking is a good way to pass time when you're en route from Tennessee to Texas.

Our Music Video Penned on Sep. 10, 2008
This evening, I found myself babysitting my four younger siblings and with nothing to do, as usual (our normal routine is to go in circles arguing ever whether I am bound by some Supreme Babysitter's Guide to play never-ending games with them). Today, however, I was prepared! Since I had recently discovered how to get our video files into Windows Movie Maker, I proposed that we make a movie.
This is our result:
Yes, there were several repeated shots in there. As it turns out, in converting the files from MOVs to AVIs I lost half of each clip, making it necessary to have lots of filler...you get the idea.

The Giggle Movie Penned on Aug. 20, 2008
(Otherwise entitled, Fun with Windows Movie Maker)
During our not-so-long drive home from a visit with family, Michael, Patti and I decided to pass the time in a more creative fashion. Thus, The Giggle Movie came into being:
As for those credits...well, we were bored. And we had a minute of song to use up.
