Hey Peeps! My mouth is really feeling weird. It's, as my little brother would say, "spiced out". lol :D. Its because I was taking these chips, and burying it in the salsa, and then leaving it in there for like five minutes. And then I dug the soggy chip out of the salsa and, glanced strangely at by my other siblings, popped it into my mouth. I only ate like ten chips, because I was taking soooo much time eating them, that before I knew it...they were put away. lol :D! So...yeah...sorry I haven't been blogging in forEVEH! I was busy doing other stuff. Like school...and writing...and just...stuff... What to say? Well...I really like the name 'Lorelei'. Post a comment, and tell me what you think of the name. Any of y'all got cool names that you'd like to share? Anybody ever heard of the name Yasmeen? I LOVE THAT NAME! Has any of ya peeps heard of "What if We" by Brandon Heath, "Addison Road" by...well...Addison Road or The Rubyz? I really like those peeps and their music. I'm going to buy The Rubyz CD soon...hopefully...I have both of the other CD's mentioned. Well...I would like to talk about...the movie Twilight. I have heard a lot of bad, BAD, things about it, and, as a Christian, I would NEVER go see it. Anybody seen it and have something good to say about it? Not that I'd consider going to see it, my parents wouldn't let me anyway (not that I WANT to!). To me, I feel like that's just a dirty movie, and there's no point in going to see it; except dirtying your mind. If you have a different opinion, than express it. I'm fine hearing other people's opinions. Give me some reasons why you think its a good movie, or if you agree with me that its a bad one. Anybody read the Harry Potter books? I think that they are extremely good. However, if you are a very strong disapprover of "magic" and all that kind of stuff, then these books wouldn't be for you. My parents aren't like that (though I totally understand if yours are.), and I'm very glad that they approved of the books. I'm trying to convince my mom and dad to let me, and my older brother who likes the books to, see the first movie. My mom says that the movies get a little gory and scary and violent as they progress, and I kind of agree with her, considering that I've never seen the movies. But every time I read one of the books, I'm keenly reminded of my desire to see the first movie. I want to see how well the director and screen-writer portrays the characters, and how well the actors and actresses live them. Has anybody seen the movies, and have some rating to give them? Would you say the movies are better than the books? In some cases, the movies are better than the books. E.G. The Lord of the Rings. I ADORE THOSE MOVIES! The books aren't so good. They seem full of traveling and I get the sense, "Oh, they just got here. Why are they traveling here now?" Does anybody have athlete's foot? Its when bacteria grows on your toes from activity or something like that, and the skin starts to peel. I get that a LOT! My latest case of it was pretty bad, but it went away after two weeks, or so. My feet stink. But not many people know that, as I don't go around shoving my feet into peoples' faces... Can you tell I'm random? Going back and reading over my blog, I'm struck at how I can flit from one subject to the next. I can see how that can be annoying, but you're going to have to deal with it when you're reading my blog, or go browse another blog. I talked with Eletha on the phone last night...she's SO awesome! We were singing to each other over the phone (I know...I know...its weird.) this really cool song that we both LOVE and what was weird was that she was always a split-second behind me...because...well...distance ands tuff. So I was like, "Eletha, you're going too slow!" and she replies, "Am not! I'm matching up with your voice." Lol! It was funny. The song chorus goes like, "Gotta couple dents in my fender, gotta couple rips in my jeans. Trying to fit the pieces together, but perfection is my enemy. On my own I'm so clumsy, but on your shoulders, I can see...I'm free to be me." That's only a little evidence to go by, but if anyone knows the title and author of that song, please post it, and everyone can know...lol. Has anybody read...Gregor the Overlander series? I'm so mad that they haven't got movies of them! They're like the BEST ever! Well, not better than the Harry Potter ones, but considerably remarkable. Their by...Suzanne Collins...or something like that...please, I beg of you, READ THEM! THEY ARE SO COOL! Its about this 11 year old guy named (no der) Gregor, and his dad has disappeared a few years ago, and he lives in this tiny apartment with his mom, younger sister (Boots), another younger sister (Lizzie), and his grandma who calls him Simon (cuz she's a little loony...her soul is not with her body...lol) and their family is struggling to even pay the bills. Then Gregor goes to do the laundry, and his sister falls into this open grate behind a washing machine. Gregor jumps after her, and they fall...fall...FALL! But they don't die, because there's this air current that softens their landing. There's actually this whole world under NYC, filled with giant rats (called gnawers), giant mice (nibblers), giant spiders (spinners), giant glow bugs (shiners), giant scorpians (stingers)...and...well...and humans. Gregor turns out to be the warrior that is supposed to save all of Regalia (the human city) from the treachorous gnawers. There's these whole series (5 books) about different prophecies (including...disease, death, treachory...etc.) and Gregor is expected to fulfill them, going home after completing each prophesy (at the end of the book.). THEY'RE SO TOTALLY AWESOME! Oh my gosh, has anybody read the Inheritance Cycle? Oh my gosh, if you haven't, and you're parents aren't sensitive against magic and stuff, then READ THEM! THEY ARE THE BEST! The movie about the first book, Eragon, is so disappointing. I hate it! They leave out SO many important parts, and I was very angry and let-down. They're by Christopher Paolini, and they're about this boy who finds a dragon, and becomes a dragon-rider, fighting against the evil king Galbatorix (isn't that an awesome name?!?) and allying with the elves and rebel humans. It doesn't sound very awesome, but, oh my gosh, they are the best. They're my favorite books, I think I like them even better than the Harry Potter books! Oh, and the Harry Potter books are by J.K. Rowling. I'm going to go write...or do something like that... Luv y'all like monkeys luv bananas! ***Arwei*** p.s. Please comment! |

Hey Readers, First thing I want to say, is that if you're name is Rebecca and you posted a comment on my blog, and I want to thank you. THANK YOU! I'm sitting on my grandma's (and grandpa's) glass round table. A beautiful fake flower display is tickling my nose, my computer bag is littering the table; along with a cooking book, my brother's computer and a CD holder. I'm using a Sprint Internet Connection, because my grandma does not have a Wireless, like my house does. My Grandma I call Grandma, and my Grandpa I call 'Pop-pop' and PLEASE do not ask why, because I don't have a clue. He's the most huh-larious guy you've ever met! He must have drank to much caffenine (or so my Aunt was joking) because he was especially perky and funny. He's really sharp for his age. He makes up these absolutely great jokes, like this one. "There are keys sitting on a chair. What kind of Indian tribe to you have?" the answer is, "Chair-o-keys!" Like.... Cherokees. I think that's SO funny, but if you don't that's okay. My cousin Austin had a birthday, turning 9. He already has a phone! *sigh* okay, I guess that's not so shocking compared to me have a laptop. I'm 11 and a half, or so. I'm tall with layered blonde hair that has natrual golden highlights. I have big hands with loooong slender fingers. I have big feet and small ears. I don't have remarkably long eye-lashes, or remarkably big eyes. I have green eyes and braces. I look older with braces, though. But I'm going to be extremely grateful to get them off. My older brother is surrepetiously stalking the house, my little sis and bro are playing a game and complimenting each other politely when they make a good move. LOL! Oh, now my older bro has settled to watch the game. All I can hear is fan noises and whistles and commentor's comments. I LOVE WRITING! One Saturday I woke early, skipping chores (oooh bad me, JK my parents forgot to. Of course me and my sister and brothers were hysterically excited :)) and scooted down to my laptop, after asking my mom, duh. I wrote ALL day. No...that's an exaggeration. Up until five at night. I skipped breakfast and lunch. I had a Mountain Dew and a piece of toast for dinner, and then went to bed blissfully happy. That's SO what I'm going to do when I grow up. I'm going to skimp on meals and write all day, with short breaks of course. I really love the movie called The Ultimate Gift. It's SO awesome! I love it! My bestie is named Eletha. She's the best ever. More later. Bye readers! ~Arwei |

Hey Peoples! This is Arwei speaking. Er, writing I should say. I'm home alone...well not exactly. When I say 'home alone' I mean I'm at home without supervision of adults. I'm sitting at my desk with my brother next to me. *sigh* I'm not home alone any more, my mom just came home. *big sigh* I have to go and I just got on! Well this is my first blog entry, but I can't introduce myself as properly as I should have been. So...good bye blog readers, and I hope your day is the best this year (highly unlikely). Love y'all, Arwei |
