One of these days a flying monkey's gonna get you, then where will you be, huh?

I'm gonna tell you exactly what I told the people on Facebook: I have a plot bunny hopping around in my head. His name is Frank. And he likes marshmallows. He's floating around the Garden of Muses eating marshmallows and cackling. All because he unearthed a cherry tree that happens to have borne another novel plot. Yes, I am now writing a seventh novel. Sadly.

The plot is exceptionally simple and remarkably could be a one-hit wonder for this day and age. Course I'm not telling you pumpkins anything about it. >:3 But I shall continue to ramble. Besides the simple plot and the WAFFeelings that will, undoubtably be lurking around the corners, it will also be scented with Chenal 09 and oranges, also there will be a faint undertone of bacon. Okay, lots of bacon. I think it has potential. Well shall see.

My second screenplay was inadvertently turned into a novel, and Novel 2 was turned into Screenplay 2. I don't why, but that's what occurred. So in "reality" I have six novels and two screenplays, while in my mind I have "seven novels" and "two point five screenplays". I have a set reality that I choose to acknowledge. It helps.

So consider this an update.

Hello all and thoughts

Hello to all those reading this!!!!! Sorry I haven't written in forever, but I am here to correct this situation! Beware! Complete BLAH of thoughts are going to come out in this post!

Something that has been on my mind lately......

Item number one - guys should dress and act like guys

Explanation - At my youth and around the town in which I live, there are alot of guys that just don't really dress like guys! No offense to you guys who wear them, but I think skinny jeans on a guy are just kinda silly! This may be a little bold, but in them, ya'll have no secrets, they are really....um....distracting to us girls, and just not very....flattering (for lack of a better word). In my personal opinion, guys should wear loose fitting jeans and shorts. Not so loose fitting that all the world can see your underwear hanging out but loose enough that all world doesn't know how big around your calves and thighs are just by looking at your pants!! And guys, I don't care how "submissive" you are, but you are going to end up trying to show off. Skinny jeans are very restictive...I know this from personal experience! I gave away my only pair because I hated how I couldn't do anything in them!
All I am saying here is that guys - WEAR GUYS CLOTHING!!!!!!!!!! Don't buy GIRLS pants just so you can show off just how skinny your calves are! Please, wear looser pants....we don't wanna see that!
Another thing is that guys should just act like guys! Be masculine - that's a GOOD thing! Girls "like-like" (I can't believe that I am 17 and still say "like-like") guys that are masculine. Just be a guy! I may post the lyrics to one of my favorite songs on here....the song is "I'm Still a Guy" by Brad Paisley. It's a really good song - I love it! :) But it just seems that alot of guys are just not masculine. And, I must admit that we girls are never satisfied....sorry to break it to you guys but a girl likes her guy to be masculine but not too masculine. Being masculine kinda shows us that you are not afraid to get in a fight BUT it has to be for the right reason! We don't want our guys flairing up at everything for goodness sakes, but we like to know that our guy is tough, can get the job done, and is a "Real Man" hahaha! Plus, I am breaking the secret "girls' code at the moment I think, but sometimes, girls play the "damsel in distress" because we like to be saved by our guy or just a guy. If our car breaks down, we may know exactly what is wrong with it and know exactly how to fix it, but if the guy we like is in the car with us, we're not gonna do a thing to let on that we know what to do....that's ya'll's job! :D That is the way we think.....we know that you guys like to be in charge. I don't care how tight your jeans are....if the girl you like is "in distress" *fanfare* you become that perfect Knight in Shining Armor or at least try your hardest to be! :) And girls really like that! :) BUT we aren't going to want to play the "damsel in distress" if we think that you are "masculine enough" to fix it. Being masculine is a very good thing! :) hehe!

Item # two: Girls - leave something up to the imagination!!!!

Explanation: Alot of the girls I see, Christian girls as well, wear immodest clothing that leave nothing to the...er...imagination. Sorry, being blunt again, but some of these shirts some girls wear, I can see straight down their shirts!! I get distracted by their mini-skirts and low-cut shirts - I can't imagine how distracting that must be to guys! Another thing, is that girls should leave something up to a boy's imagination! I know that may sound weird and makes you think "They shouldn't be imagining anything!!!!" But better they imagine it instead of you just showing everything to them!! Girls are always "complaining" about how "guys are such pigs because all they think about it girls' butts and chests" and it bugs some of my girlfriends to no end! It bugs me to no end when a girl walks by in her tiny skirt, itty-bitty, low-cut tanktop and then complains about guys looking at her butt and not recognizing her for an actual person!! Sorry, but THEY CAN'T HELP IT!!!!! Just as girls can't really help it when on the big screen in a movie theater, a buff guy is "showing off his muscles" we can't help but like what we see and we look!! Don't try and deny it, you girls who are reading this post! Admit it! :) That is the way God made us and guys! If you don't want guys "oogling" after you, DON'T SHOW THEM SOMETHING TO OOGLE AT!!!! Wear some longer shorts so that your butt isn't hanging out, cover the cleavage . If there is an "oh so cute" top that you just HAVE to get but it's a bit low cut, get a cami to go with it! Cover 'em up!

Ok - that is my "speal" for now! Post thought...don't be scared....I want to hear ya'll's thoughts on this!!!!

Don't ask about those updates.

No, seriously, don't ask. I have no idea where they disappeared to. Just went...poof.

Anywyas, world's flat and void in the middle today. I don't really care why. It just is.

Easter went all right. It poured buckets so we wound up hiding real eggs inside. *rolls eyes* Little monsters and their egg hunting. Had a fun time with the adults though, didn't get voted off the "island" (i.e. dinning room table). Lots of good food, think we actually brought some home.

I've been Facebooking a lot (it's the buttons), but as of recently it's sorta dwindled. I've also been writing poetry. "Honestly? Seriously?" Yeah, that's what I was thinkin' too. I don't think they're half bad, but *shrugs*. I've been using the Facebook status to keep it short and clean, then copying them into my notebook. Recently they've been getting longer and having to take up a comment. I wish someone would critique them though. *whines* Insuffrable people I know.

I'm going to try and post again. Honestly. But don't hold your breath. I've got more stuff do to then the Queen. Which reminds me, I need to see if Petco is hiring.

Pride and Predjudice vs. Pride and Prejudice

Hello to all!

Man! I haven't written in a VERY long time!! :P I need to not do that anymore but it's been so hectic around our house lately that I haven't had the time to post anything.

So, as a re-entrance into the blogging world, I am going to post three reasons that I like the new "Pride and Prejudice" movie with Kierra Knightley better than I like the "Pride and Prejudice" movie with Colin Firth. You may laugh because all three of my reasons have to do with the three men who 'go after' Lizzy - Mr. Darcy, Mr. Collins, and Mr. Wickham.

1: We shall start with Mr. Collins since he just cracks me up sometimes! In the 2005 version, Mr. Collins is played by the five foot, five inches tall Tom Hollander (right). I liked him much better than Tom Bamber (left) who played Mr. Collins in the 1995 A&E movie. The main reason, is because Hollander is so short compared to six foot two Matthew Macfadyen who plays Mr. Darcy. It makes him seem a bit more ridiculous I guess. Also, Mr. Hollander’s facial expressions are so much better than Mr. Bamber’s. I just ‘like’ the 2005 Mr. Collins much better than the 1995 Mr. Collins! Hehe

2. Now, we shall move on to Mr. Wickham, played in the 2005 version by Rupert Friend (left). For women, especially, he seems much more easily trusted than the 1995 Mr. Wickham, Adrian Lukis. Friend also seemed much more proud and ‘truer’ than Lukis. His laugh was good and with his fair skin and blonde hair, he seemed much more the type that one would ‘pick on’. Whereas tall and dark Lukis seems much more guarded and you feel that you can’t trust him. He smiles like a snake and doesn’t play ‘the lady’s man’ quite so well as Rupert Friend.

3: Now, now, we shall move on to the most loved hero in the Jane Austen novels – the wonderful Mr. Darcy. The 2005 Mr. Darcy is played by Matthew Macfadyen right) while the 1995 version is played by Colin Firth (left). Now, I must say that Colin Firth is an amazing actor and is a definite a man who loved by many ladies. Equal in height with Matthew Macfadyen (6’2”), it is difficult to convey why I like Macfadyen as Darcy better than Firth. One thing is, that, I don’t like that Firth never smiles until the very end of the movie just before he kissed Lizzy while Macfadyen smiles a few times and that (if I may say so without being pegged as a silly girl) just makes your stomach go crazy with butterflies!!! Hehe! Macfadyen also just seems so much more like the Darcy one reads of in the novel “Pride and Prejudice”! I must say that MM just seems to play Mr. Darcy much better than Firth, although I still love Colin Firth’s movies! J

There, I will leave you, my readers, with this to comment on for the time being!

Motivation is a fire from within. If someone else tries to light that fire under you, chances are it will burn very briefly.

I know it's a little late in the game for this, but I wanted to share it all the same.

Okay, so on my writing site they set forth this challenge, read over 100 books before the end of the year. We all got to pick what books we wanted on the list and it became interesting, sadly though the list wasn't finished but if we chose to, we could edit it to our liking. So, I did. Before the end of 2009 I hope to read a 125 books with three being a series. That's a lot, yes? Well, I needed something to do. Anyways! I wanted to share a few books off the reading list with you.

1. Frankenstein by Mary Shelley

2. The Sword in the Stone by T.H. White

3. The Life of Pi by Yann Martel

4. 1984 by George Orwell

5. The Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Album

6. The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas

7. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

8. The Grapes of Wrath by John Steinbeck

9. A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens

10. Great Expectations by Charles Dickens

11. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett

12. Lord of the Flies by William Golding

13. A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

14. Homer

15. The Taming of the Shrew by William Shakespeare

16. The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

17. The Turn of the Screw by Henry James

18. Treasure Isalnd by Robert Louis Stevenson

19. Dracula by Bram Stoker

20. The Scarlet Letter by Nathanial Hawthorne

21. To Kill a Mocking Bird by Harper Lee

So far, I've finished only two, but I still have ten and a half months left. I'm hoping to finish five within this month alone. Make your own list and make it outrageously long, too. Then tell about it.  =) We can compare.

Ah, and the title is a quote from Stephen R. Covey.
