Jane~

Posted in Posted by Jane Austen

Jane felt dazed as she tried to open her eyes. Where was she? She had no clue where she was for surely this wasn’t in her house. Strangely, it felt like she was lying down on a cloud. Her eyes finally opened to a slit. Lined up against the stonewall were millions of candles of all shapes and sizes, casting shadows and making the windowless room look dark and masculine. Opening her eyes and looking around affirmed her suspicions that she was alone. How did she get here? Jane looked at what she was laying on in bewilderment. A large silver bed in the shape of a swan with red velvet cushions and pillows. Very soft indeed. Jane stood and walked over to a large mirror with thick gold edging. This was such a strange room. A mask with deep purple feathers coming out of the sides was hanging on the wall. On the other side of the room were two swords crisscrossed and right below it was a shiny shield with a dagger attached to the front. On the floor in a corner was a beautiful mahogany chest. Curious, Jane quietly walked over to it and knelt down in front of it. Lifting the heavy lid, she peeped inside. Leaning the lid against the stonewall she reached inside.

Until next time,

WHAT!! I must protest my dear Jane! Leaving us hanging like that! Indeed, the very indignation of it! However, inspite of this horrid cliff hanger it is coming along very well, and you must put more on soon or I shall have to come after you, or *Whispers in ear* give away your idenity to everything about the you know who kidnapping.
Yours in writing, C.S. Lewis
