The Inklings Group Story

Posted in Posted by Jules Verne

Jules here.

Okay, we all agreed it would be fantasy, and we tried to come up with a plot via PMs, but obviously it didn't work.   So here's what's gonna happen.

We all give an idea for a small part of the plot.  e.g:

"a boy loses his favorite teddy bear, and this guy comes and finds it."

Okay, I know that was stupid, but you get the idea.  I'm looking for something way more cooler than that.

Oh yeah, and because it's fantasy y'all can come up with some races or countries, and stuff like that.  Just please NO ELVES! ! !  Make up something original.  Let's not write a copy of LoTR or Eragon.   There are already too many of those out there.

Okay, you've read it, now comment and tell us your ideas!

P.S:

Corduroy pillows are making headlines.

Ok, um...*no ideas off top of head*
P'raps this should be a December thing? Everyone's rother short for inspiration, as they're putting all into their NaNo novels. I wouldn't want anyone to miss out. ;-)
God bless,

Please just wait for November to be over so I can do it, too! I think it's a REALLY GOOD IDEA to not do elves and not make a copy of Lord of the Rings. Let's wait until December and then we can work something out.

Now I'm starting to think differently about the elves in my book...*err, ahem*

I think December's a good time to do this; meself, I'm a little dazed right now, what with the election, and just joining this group....

Corduroy pillows...
I'll have to get one while they're hot.
