Introducing...

Posted in Posted by Robert Louis Stevenson

*clears throat grandly* I have arrived at long las--

*trips over Jules' sword and glares at it*

Well.  I'm here, and that's that.  I am writer4him, henceforward to be known as Robert Louis Stevenson at the Inklings.  You may call me RLS--not to be mistaken with RK, of course.

And now for the introductory tag...

What time frame does your story take place in?
I suppose it's medieval.  Technically it's a fantasy, but it lacks any magical elements.  Call it...historical fantasy. *grin*

Who is the main character in your story?  Caedmon, Gavin, and Jarrett.

What three words best describe your main character?  Bitter, quiet, stubborn (for Cael, anyways).

When was the last time you had inspiration for your story?  Tonight.

What caused your inspiration?
I'm not sure.

What music do you usually listen to when writing your story? It depends on the character.  When I write about Jarrett, I leave Flood (Jars of Clay) on repeat, and sometimes for Cael.  It fits them.  For Gavin, I play the Wexford Carol.

What book/movie most influenced your story? I like to think that it's completely original. *grin*  Honestly, though, I never would have attempted fantasy if it weren't for Lord of the Rings.  Oh...and Eragon serves as a reminder to make mine better. ;-)

How long have you been working on your story?  One year and one month.

Do you think better while laying down or sitting up?  I write sitting up, but I do lots of thinking in bed at night.

Which place inspires you most? I'm not sure.  Inspiration strikes me quite randomly.

There you have it!  I look forward to hanging around here.

*in monotone* Yay you joined. We are happy. And if you'd watch where you put yer feet, you'd not trip over me sword. . .

P.S. I don't like Eragon.

Yay Beth! *hugs* I'm so glad you did it! Maybe we could co-write a story together and post it on here! *feels mischievious*

I understand the thing about Eragon - I keep it around, just to read it and remind myself, "I can do it better than that!"

Anyhow, I'm interested to see what you will be doing on here!
