Here is a new song I'm working on:

Trapped, but so eager to break free,
Wanna tell all about me change,
Can't get through the door,
Get tongue-tied, can't breath either.

What looks so easy for some,
Is harder than a brick wall for me,
What is the matter with me?

Look down and help me Lord,
I'm sinking under the waves,
I'm trembling and frightened,
This isn't my home and I'm lost,
I need Your sustaining touch.

Why can't I just move forward?
I want to get on, give it my all,
But how can I when I'm chained down,
Knees knocking and throat too dry to speak,
The world tells me NO,
They don't want me to spread the good news.

But don't wanna go back,
To the life I led before.

I drop to my knees,
Fold my hands and pray,
I need Your help Father.

Together we can tell storm the castle,
I will not fall far with Him at my side,
He's always there, ready to catch me.

He looked down and helped me,
I'm no longer sinking, I flying,
He stopped my trembling, He gave me a boldness,
My way is clear before me,
And always his touch sustains me.
