Hangman Contest!!!!! Winner! The Word was Mesopotamia!

Posted in Contest

Momanna98 figured it out! Is she sharp or what? Okay, come can collect your prize!!!!!! Thanks to everyone for playing. We will do it again next week!

Well it is time again for another Hangman Contest! The rules are simple.  There are some dashes below and you need to guess which letters go where. You guess a letter in a comment, then I will respond either by putting it where it belongs, or by posting it below the dashes. If the word isn't guessed before there are 10 mis-guesses, then no one wins.  You guys and gals are pretty smart though and that hasn't happened yet!  Please just guess one letter per comment.

If you win, I will send you one of the following books (your choice) and put a link to your blog in a post announcing the winner.  It just doesn't get any better than this;)

Herbie Goes Bananas

Big Red (dog book) by Jim Kjelgaard

Hurlburts Story of the Bible

In His Steps by Charles M. Sheldon

Reader's Digest Great Biographies (Lindbergh, Nightingale, Edison, Hans Christian Andersen)

Foxglove (mystery) by Mary Anne Kelly

Apples of Gold (inspirational verse)

Alexander Dolgun's Story (An American in the Gulag)

Girls of the Bible by H. A. Snyder

The Way Things Ought to Be by Rush Limbaugh

MESOPOTAMIA

N, R, H

Apr. 19, 2006 - Is there an S????

Posted by iluvtheland
Sounds like a good first guess to me :-)
Thanks for all your help with the Blubber Bloggers, Melissa. I appreciate it more than you can possibly know. I was at the doctors with my dad today, will be again tomorrow, and with my mom-in-law on Friday. Things just don't seem to slow down with all this health stuff. Today they told Dad he has a heart valve problem that is pretty serious....just one more thing....
I'm glad that I have you to carry on when I don't know for sure when I"m here and when I'm not! ((((Melissa))))

Sorry, but there are no 'h's. Try, try again. I was happy to stop by your daughter's blog. DS has been asking to start his own. We are just trying to decide how to go about it. It is so scary having our kids on the internet. So many creepos out there!
