Yahoo! Some scientists are working on the genetics of grass to develop grass that grows very little and stays green all the time! Did I ever mention that scientists were my heros???
We'll enjoy this website; I've already had to tear myself away from it to write this comment. 8^) BTW, while you're waiting for the grass not to grow, get a couple of geese. Geese will mow the lawn for you, and there are some breeds that are gentler than others, and would make nice pets for your kids. And, your cat will probably leave it alone. I know, I know, I am always pushing animals, but they provide a valuable service and are fun to watch.
Miniature goats and geese! I just can't convince DH! Of course, he isn't the one that mows the yard, either. I didn't know there were gentler geese, I had just always heard they had a mean streak!
