My husband is a private pilot and flying is something he loves to do (and hasn't been able to for awhile because it is an expensive hobby). I miss that for him.  I was never crazy about flying. I like getting from point A to point B faster, but I am a bit afraid of the whole being up in the air off the ground thing!  At any rate, I think it is fascinating how planes work and that modern avionics still is based on the same prinicples of areodynamics that the Wright Brothers used 103 years ago.
