If your children have hamsters, you know the joy of cleaning out the cages. While essentially not bad, where the hamster urinates is a challenge. I stumbled on an answer a couple of weeks ago that I thought I would share with you.  Steel Wool pads. I use the store brand.  It cleans up that concrete-like mess in moments!  Rinse well and your hamster cage is clean as new!
