    • Going to The National Zoo

     

     

    We finally made it back to The National Zoo on Friday. Of course we HAD to see the Panda Bears.  Why is it that it always seems to be naptime at the zoo?

     

     

    The Sloth Bear wanted to see Ashton and Zachary.

     

     

    He brought his ball down to the window so that he could watch them and continue what he was doing at the same time. He is a bear who knows how to multi-task!!

     

     

    Here's an unusual specimen in his natural habitat.

     

     

    Zachary insisted his legs were tired and he just had to sit down on every bench we passed.

     

     

    No, Steve is not really sitting on Zachary's head. He's just pretending.

    Just be happy it was nap time. I took a date to the zoo on a day it was zoo-wide mating season. All the animals were getting jiggy with it. Honestly, they should close the zoo that day each year.

    That could be really awkward!! DH took me to a movie his seminary friends highly recommended for a date and it had an awkward scene. He was quite annoyed with his friends.

    Haha,

    It looks like you guys had a load of fun! When we took my girls to the zoo last year, all the animals were sleeping too! Poor kids barely got to see anything, the animals seem to choose furthest from the viewing area to nap in. Blessings!
