Tribute to Ha Ha

Today is my 35th Birthday.  Milestones are always an occasion for reflection. The older I get, the more time seems to fly.  Maybe it's because we are having so much fun!

In honor of my birthday, I put together this little song and picture tribute to my baby.  Scroll to the bottom and hit play on the media player to hear the song.

I heard this song, In My Arms for the first time on someone's blog.  It is a beautiful lullaby.  The description of the child in the song reminds me of Ha Ha (baby blues, curly q's and contagious smile) but the words apply to all my babies.  They are growing up so fast.  Where has all the time gone?

Of course, we know that it is Jesus that keeps them safe in His arms but He has entrusted them to us.  I love having mine safe at home where they belong!

Abba Father, help me to be a daughter that is an honor to You. Help me to be more like Your Son each day.  Teach me to be the Mama that my babies need.  Help me to always show them the love of Christ.  I want to cherish every moment and hold them tight.

Lord, teach me to capture their hearts each day and to remember what is important.  Help me to always discipline them with love and grace just as you discipline me.  In Jesus' name, Amen.

Welcome to HSB and Happy Birthday! Your children are so sweet. I like the picture with your little daughter's eyes squinched up and a messy face. Too cute!

Hey there! Love your blog. and your tribute to Ha Ha. I have a birthday too this month. I'll be 44 though. YIKES. You know it's funny I had to sit here and do the math to remember how old I was going to be. And I went to sleep tonight with my makeup on for the first time in 20 years. I'm a Mary Kay consultant so I always have a clean face but tonight I just passed out on the bed beside my daughter. All the boys slept out in our pop up camper. We've had the thing for 3 years and have actually camped in it once away from the house. How wild is that? We are planning on taking it camping this spring. I just can't do a pop up in the 100 degree heat of SC summers.
It was 79 today and last Sunday it was 16 and there was 3 inches of snow on the ground.
Gotta love it.

About Me

Welcome to our blog. We are a Christian homeschool family of five. I have been married for nearly 16 years and I have 3 beautiful children. The baby has "named" us all so let me introduce you. I am Mama and my husband is Na Na. Our oldest daughter is Sis, age 9. Our son is Bubby, age 8. Our youngest daughter is HaHa, age 2. I created this blog as a way to keep in touch with family and friends and let them know what the kiddos are up to. I also hope to find encouragement and to be able to give some as well. I am not new to blogging but I new at running my own blog. If I appear clueless, it is probably because I am. Anyway, I hope you enjoy our blog. May the Lord bless you and keep you, may He make His Face to shine upon you and give you peace.
