Nov. 24, 2006 - Thanksgiving and BLACK FRIDAY!
how was everyone's thanksgiving?! My family [minus my oldest bro, plus my grandparents] went to our friends' house. I love just relaxing and eating *really good* food with friends :) The Ericksons are like family to us too, so it was really nice just catching up with them. Then last night after eating, I went over to my friend Deanna's house. We got all dolled up and took pictures :) *so*much*fun* then we got a call from a friend so we hung out with jason and some other *cool* people... Oh, I dyed my hair again... :\ its ok though... then, the whole reason I went to Deanna's house was to go SHOPPING today!
We woke up at 4 this morning [we got a total of like 3 and a half hours of sleep] and got to Old Navy by 5, then headed to the mall... It was tons of fun, but I'm so tired! On that note, I'm going to go take a nap, before I go to my grandparents for a 2nd thanksgiving.... I think I'm gonna squeeze in some extra running this week from all this food :]

Well, my dad is doing better [with the pain medication =)]. He is home from the hospital, and he had an MRI done while he was there. We dont have the report back but he has an appointment with an orthapedic doctor today... He's probably facing surgery, but we hope not... Thanks for the prayers guys!!!
As far as volleyball tryouts go, yesterday started out not too well.... :\ we started with serving and I guess I just wasnt warmed up yet, but I totally bombed that. But for the most part it went really well... and I can definately feel that I played yesterday! I'm SO sore. I have another session tonight from 6 to 9 So I hope that goes well, its just game play so it shouldnt be too bad.. then we find out on Wednesday what teams we're on!

Nov. 17, 2006 - pray
My dad is in need of some serious prayer! He was on his way to work yesterday morning after meeting with a mens group from our church, and he had to come home because of some serious back pain... so he was on the couch all day yesterday. He was in agony just doing anything but laying on his back, so today since he couldnt get off the couch to go to the doctors, he called an ambulance [my mom and I were at a consultation with an oral surgeon about my wisdom teeth :\] and we met him at the hospital. I just heard from my mom and they emitted [?! is that right] him, so he'll be there all night. I dont have any thing else to say, about it, because we have no clue what could be causing this pain, but if you could lift him up in prayer that would be such a blessing! Thanks! I love you guys ;] I'll keep you all updated as the doctors figure out what it is...

hello, and sorry to all of my *faithful* readers.... yes, Its been a full week since I've last updated... I have nothing more to tell about, except my borring life.... so here it is.
ok, so since my party, I've had all of my regular classes, [oh! I did get a 100 on my spanish quiz (which NEVER happens... EVER!] that made my day just about amazing... then later that day I got my literary analisis for The Scarlet Letter back and I DIDNT FAIL! haha, go figure. So this is all on tuesday, then I go to the gym with karen after classes, which is my favorite part of the day :] it was a really good workout too... we looked at bridal magazines while we ran ;] then we had a really good ab session.... then lets see, later I go to navs [with karen] That is always a highlight in my day. I really enjoy the fellowship and spiritual encouragement. Everyone there is awesome... I spend a whole bunch of time with people from navs. Tuesday nights at navs, usually friday nights for movie night, and I just joined the leadership team for navs [Tim Team] so I have that everyother sunday. fun stuff. well, I have to go babysit now, but I'll probably think of something interesting to write about tomorrow :] in the mean time you'll have to excuse my boring-ness ;] and have a really awesome day!!!

So last night I had my birthday party! It was alot of fun... We just had family friends and my friends over and we all just hung out... We watched the skins game. lol and one of my friends Josh is a huge cowboys fan and I love the skins and we always give eachother a hard time when they play eachother and the Skins won!!! it made my day so good :] So how was everyone else's weekend?! anything exciting???

a Bible study I go to on tues. nights had a costume party last night since we meet usually and it happened to be halloween... my friends and I decided to be the disney princesses :) from L to R: Cinderella [Meghan], Jasmine [me] Sleeping Beauty [Karen] and Ariel [Becca]. lol little did I know we would be playing link tag outside. and just about everyone playing thought it was really fun to see how many times they could make me run. let me tell you, I'm pretty fast in a dress... faster than I thought ;]
I know 'halloween' is such a weird holiday, but did you do anything fun last night?

I love this time of year! it is so beautiful. It really shows how much our God loves us! He cares so much for us that he made the beautiful trees to turn colors and the warm sun in the clear blue sky to shine upon us through the gentle breeze! Fall is such a peaceful season. For me, even though life is so hectic, and school is getting buisier, all I have to do is look or be outside and see the masterpiece God has painted for us to feel a sense of peace rush over me.

ice cream, nuts [no, my family isnt in the freezer, edible nuts...] cranberries, bagels, and probably some meat of some sort...

my amazing copper stilettos!, my active ankle, like 3 volleyballs, my court shoes, scarves...

some kind of hand lotion, church directory [we have one too sarah! lol], cds, a case of waterbottles, and usually me.

lip gloss/chap stick, sunglasses, wallet, nail file, bobby pins... [ I have pretty much every thing in my purse]
5 things in your wallet:
my permit, gift cards, notes from ppl, a frequent drink card :) [lol, its from a smoothie place] pictures of my favorite people.

well, do you like our new carpet?! Um, yeah, I'm not crazy about it either. This is my room... well what will hopefully be my room again. The instalation got delayed for another WEEK! yes, ladies and gents, thats a whole month that we have not had carpet in our upstairs! 
I think I might go crazy! My 'bedroom' right now is our living room. And my parents are sleeping in the family room. I'm sick and tired of it all! speaking of being sick...I'M SICK I thought it was just dust and allergies, but its more than just allergies now. I think today I've blown out the entire contents of my skull plus some
I dont know where it's all coming from.
My grandma came over today for lunch after some meeting she had. My mom made an amazing cauliflower/ cheese soup! it was so good :) and I made a german apple pancake. it was pretty good if I do say so my self.

ok, so I dont know what to write about [again] but I just wanted to post.... afterall, it has been a while since I've put anything new up.
as some of you may have noticed, my music dissapeared... I was goofing around and next thing I know, it was all gone :\ so I've been puting it back slowly but surely. when it came time to replace my music video, I didnt want to put the same one up, so here's my question... which one should I put up?!

Philippians 3:17-21

I'm in a Bible study and right now and we're focusing on becoming more like Christ.
This past week we focused on our identity. We all have an identity, but what does it mean? What exactly does a drivers license mean? a membership card, a student ID... they all have one thing in common, our dientity. Height, weight, address, usually a picture, and restrictions. We have a citizenship to the United States. Which means we 'belong' to the US. We have a certain set of guide lines, rules and restrictions. But with those guidelines, rules and restrictions come privaleges. The same goes for me, and other followers of Christ. We [yes you and me!] have a citizenship to Heaven, and we have rules and restrictions, but with those we have the ultimate privelage! The privialge to be citizens of Heaven! To belong to heaven.
So I ask you this today, where does your identity lie? Does it lie in your wardrobe, is it your car, your friends, do you chain yourself down to being a citizen of this filthy, sinful earth?

*deep breath* ok... I am sOoOo excited! I cant even think straight... Ok so I sing in a choir called I Cantori, and there is a smaller group within the group that does more shows and sings MUCH better music (it more fun to sing :)) its called I Voci so I tried out for I Voci, and I did really bad. I mean really really bad! I had really bad allergies that week, and I made the worst mistake by taking allergie medicine that morning which dried me out..... after my audition I figured that was it, but she said that she 'might' want to hear me again before she made the decision. Well today when we got home from church my mom got an e-mail from our 'conductor' and I made it!!! :) I'm so excited... I had already given up because my tryouts were pretty bad... lol
and whats really weird, my mom said today in church the Lord layed it on her heart to pray about the whole situation. I am so thankful for my mom and my grandma [she was a voice major in college] for believing in me even when I didnt. :) and for Jesus Christ who has given me a voice that I can use to sing for his glory! ok well thanks for listening!

I'm feeling really un-inspired lately... I dont know what to write about...
today I did way too much math than should be alowed, went to choir[ not only did I go, I drove!!! yes, we made it there with very little panic from my mom :) ]then karen came over to work on our ben franklin project,and to make egg rolls, and we watched national treasure with becca and colleen! We thought it was pretty relevant since we did just visit philly, and we're studying ben franklin. in the movie we saw so many places that we had just been! lik you know when ben[nicholas cage] is in the grave yard running from ian's guy, well we walked right past that and there is a set a stairs near independance hall that they run down. oh, and did anyone notice in the beginning that ben's name is Benjamin Franklin Gates?! we thought that was funny [ and a little weird] it was so funny... anyways... i'm gonna head to bed now... leave me some more comments my awesome commenters!!!
