hm... so I dont really have anything interesting to say right now... I'm so tired my brain cant think of anything :)
so this is my day:
Ok, I was at a sleepover last night with some girls from my youth group. That was alot of fun, but we stayed up way too late... and when I stay up late at night I'm pretty much useless all day long. Oh, our leader had never seen parent trap, [lol] so we had to watch that..... when I got home, I dont really remember much of what I did for a while then I cleaned my room, because we're getting new carpet this week, so we have to get all of our furnature down stairs. :/ so I pretty much emptied my closet into my [manny] volleyball bags and put it in the basement. Then I met Sarah[h] at panera bread to do some spanish homework [extra credit stuff :)] so that was sOoOo much fun but now I'm whipped... so good night!
tomorrow I'm going to Philly with karen because we're reading the autobiography of B. Franklin. I'll post pics and tell about that tmrw.

This is Blake and I. he's so funny... but not around everyone... just me :) I love it... we were homeschooled together when we were younger so we pretty much grew up best friends...

ah, so I wrote an entry yesterday, It was mainly to move the redskins thing, but I told of going to Sight & Sound with my grandparents, and my great aunt and uncle that are visiting from OKC. But my computer restarted before it could load. :( so I'm not going to re-write it, but just know that I did put some thought into it. ha ha..

Sep. 11, 2006 - Its been 5 years?!
wow, its hard to believe its been 5 years since 9/11. That day will forever be etched into my memory.
It was a beautiful day in MD. Like an indian summer. Not a cloud in the sky. My mom, brother and I were out on our back porch doing TOPS astrology. it was a perfect day for studying the sun. My mom had heard the telephone ring, so she stoped what she was doing to answer the phone. My brother and I thought nothing of it... we just stayed outside glad to have a few minutes to goof off before mom got back. I remember glancing through our french doors and seeing a panicked expresion on my mom's face that I had never seen before. My dad works near the airport- BWI, and had called to tell my mom to go turn on the news. My mom rushed out to get Blake and I. We sat on her bed in awe, watching the first tower burn to the ground. At the time I was 10. I knew i was supposed to be scared, because my mom and brother were, but I had not idea why. I was terrified, and confused yet peaceful all at the same time. We kneeled together and prayed. My mom's friend had called to ask how many gallons of milk my mom wanted. I remember I thought that was funny.
My dad owns his own buisiness and it relys heavily on transportation running smoothly. When they stoped all flight patterns, it was a really scarry time for us. I remember every day thinking, 'are we going to have to shut down today?' waiting for my dad to call or when he got home to hear if we could last another day. I remember praying 'Lord, just one more day. One more day, and hopefuly they'll start the planes again. Please Lord.'

Sep. 5, 2006 - Rain, rain and more rain
Its raining today, and it rained yesterday, AND the day before. Ugh. We really needed the rain, but I think I like it in small doses over a period of time. Not a whole weekend of nonstop dreariness...We had 9 dry weeks. 
So we definately needed it...
Today was supposed to be the first day of school, but I think I might just do some math and hunker down with my new book and a cup of coffee. :)

I got my learners today! My dad and I left early this morning so we could get in the front of the line. ha, nice idea. we still waited like an hour before I could even start... but I got it! on the test you can only miss 3, you have to get 17/20 and I got 17/20 hehe... I'm so excited!

I dyed my hair today!!!
ok, so at drivers ed, we get a 15 min break at 4:30. I was planning on doing my hair later this week, but some of the girls that are in my class wanted to see it and they're not going to be there tomorrow or fri. so we ran down to rite aid bought my hair dye and went up to the girls bathroom to do it. Some of the guys in our class wanted to see it too so they knocked on the door but there was some lady in there so we waited untill she left and they came in too. it was so funny.... well our break time was over and I still had to let the dye set for 10 min. so I just put my hair up and went to class, when it was time to go, I asked if I could go to the bathroom and our instructor said ' how many times are you going to go???' haha! he doesnt like it when we ask to go right after the break... so I just took the shampoo and color treatment and went to the bathroom and washed my hair in the sink! it was so much fun! I'm glad I did it then instead of later at my friends house or something.... it made a good story that I'll never forget! I'll post pics later but my camera is broken : /

ok, so I love to design so here it goes... My room right now is dark green (or I would have it like a deep red wine red) a white washed iron bed with a white duvet cover on my down comforter, my antiqued dresser, floor pillows and a beanbag lounger in one corner, my desk(that I dont have ;) ) in the other with a hutch so I can put everything away, and I would have (andam going to have) little white washed picture frames of different shapes and sizes ( square, rectangle, oval and circles) with black and white prints of my family and friends hung with ribons tied in bows going all the way around my room about 2/3 of the way up. Oh, and lots of pillows on my bed! and lighting would over head lighting with a mini chandelier over my bed, ( I love those!!!) ok so I'll stop while I'm ahead and probably because most of the people reading this didnt really read this far in my answer, they probably skipped to the next one. So really I could talk about anything here not really having to do with my room and noone would know except me and the one or two people (probably girls) really interested in what my dream room would consist of. because the person that asked the question (whoever that person is ) probably doesnt really care about my dream room. haha! I just looked at the question and saw the '(in short)' part! oh well....
7. Seven things you've always wanted to get.
a video ipod, my licens, a white SUV (there are a couple of options there ), another dog! a friend, a pool & hot tub (thats one thing) and tan! lol jk um.... a beach house for our family!

I dont really have too much to say right now... I would just post some pictures IF I KNEW HOW! so, I'm taking drivers ed this week and next... I feel like the longer I sit in that class room, the dumber I get. its mind numbing! haha! And our instructor is etheopian so we cant really understand all that he's saying. his name is Mr. G. He's so funny though! today he was telling us a story about being responsible and not forgetting your wallet somewhere or anything so he got this girls Vera Bradely purse and started telling the story. He was a girl named Alyssa, and she was shopping and left her wallet somewhere. well she went to another store and was at the cash register and realized that her wallet wasnt there so she got it and went to her friend margaret's house instead... margaret was in another story on tuesday! lol someone was having dessert at her house from 12:30 to 3:30. (dont ask ;) )
so thats pretty much all i've been doing this week. I'll let you know if anything exciting happens... oh, I got my braces off last monday!!!! did I already say that? when I figure it out, I'll post a pic!

Jul. 11, 2006 - I HURT!
ahhhhh! i'm sooo sore! I'm going to this kick butt volleyball camp this week and it's crazy!!! today was the second day and we all sat down to put our court shoes on and we just about died. then noone could get up! lol it's such a long camp though! it's 8:30 to 6. and it's hard core all day long! It even hurts to breath. I'm not kidding! we were working on jump serving yesterday and my back hurts so much. ahhhh! i'm going to go shower now.... : )

Wow! I just experienced the perfect example of God's goodness yesterday! on monday night I was writing in my prayer journal, and after spending a week (in Mexico) with two (well more but 2 of them were my roommates) older girls that I look up to. I realized that I really wanted to be like that to the new freshmen girls in our youth group this year.
*this is me and kendyl on the Tex/Mex trip*
See, my freshmen year, Kendyl and Nicole were really welcoming, and they made me feel not like a little freshmen and they were the big seniors but they were set out to really try and be my friend. They would give me rides, listen to me, pray with me and everything else.
So I was praying that I could be a good example to these younger girls and be their friend this year. God is AMAZING! Yesterday, we went to our family friends house for a brunch and God gave me that time to hangout and get to know some of the new freshmen. It was so good! we played cards, and I just got to talk to them and begin establishing a relationship with them. At my church the older kids are kind of clicky (even to me and my friends.... and we're only 1-2 yrs younger..) and I dont want to be like that and I dont want the new girls and guys feel like they're just extras. I am so thankful for that opportunity!
When I got in the car to come home, God totally opened my eyes to what he had just done, and it was totally a wow, moment once I realized what had just happened!

I wanted to pack these little boys up and bring them home with me! They were the cutest kids EVER! the one in front has a pet duck and was carrying him around on monday after he had given him a bath. lol so Cute!his name was Bryan. ok so it's only leting me post one pic at a time so I'll have to do a little bit at a time.... be patient with me!
