Thankfulness
Who do we thank?
God – James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights(, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. )
How often should we thank Him?
Continually - Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
Who should we tell that we thank God?
Others - Psalm 107 : 1,2 O Give thanks unto the Lord for he is good: for his mercy endured forever. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so…
For what should we thank God?
For ALL things – Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ:
How can we give thanks?
Through prayer and thanksgiving – Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
By being filled with the Spirit –
Ephesians 5:18,19 And be not drunk with wine, wherin is excess, but be filed with the Spirit. Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
