FOR TODAY
Outside my window...it is still dark. Winter nights seem to linger on so long. I can hear the wind howling at the windows.
I am thinking...nothing honestly.
I am thankful for...my church.
From the learning rooms...we've been hit or miss lately, with the snow to play in and then with Christmas.
From the kitchen...the coffee is on. This is something I absolutely love to drink. I guess if I were asked what my favorite drink is, I would have to say it is coffee, especially on a cold morning.
I am wearing...jammies - it is 6 am, and I'm not dressed yet.
I am creating...I started knitting the longies again, this time with 30 stitches, and it was going really well, until I wrapped it around Sarah's leg and realized it was going to be tight, so I'll need to restart it, I think I'll use 45 this time. Thank goodness you can tear the stitches out and ball the yarn up easily.I am reading...Continuing my studies in the book of Daniel.
I am hoping...praying this headache subsides.
I am hearing...Dixie our dog is turning around and around trying to find a comfy spot to lay on, and Garrett and Isabella are watching a Nature program I recorded.
Around the house...we need to take down the Christmas tree and put the decorations away.
One of my favorite things...my little girl has begun to answer me with 'Mowm" - it is her version of ma'am. So sweet! She sounds like a kitten meowing.
A few plans for the rest of the week: tuesday evening we are going up north to my parents house for 5 days. It will be Sarah's first visit up there, though all my family has come down here to visit her. There will be lots of ice fishing for sure!
Here is picture thought I am sharing...when I was growing up, we had a HUGE red barn in the backyard. Though it didn't have a sign painted on it, and it was a deeper shade of red, this photo reminds me of it.

Blessings,
