My son did something awesome...

Posted in Good Times!!

So I got up this morning and saw one of the carnations, that my hubby bought me, on the floor next to my bed. My first thought was 'my son was in my room trying to get his gum while I was sleeping and accidentally knocked the flowers on the floor' So I got up to inspect. Then my 5yr old says "Mommy, I got a flower." I was like "wow really?" I look in the girls room and they had flowers too.

Something caught my eye leading out of the back room. There were potpourri petals leading to the front room. My next thought was 'my husband is feeling the love'. I come into the front room and on the table are 3 place setting with cereal, water, enzymes, a banana, and a note card that says Princess for the girls. My place setting was at my computer with all of the above plus coffee and my note card said Queen. I was like WOW. Then my son goes, "Do you like it?" "Yes" "Good cause I did this." I was like . He was smiling and happy. I was still in shock. It took a minute to settle in. I loved on him and hugged him . It was so sweet. So he says he is going to make lunch and dinner (we're having hotdogs) tonight.

I'm so proud of him!

(This is extra special because I have had nothing but trouble with him for the last month. So Praise God!!)

You have a beautiful family. The photos in your slideshow are excellent.

I love it! Too sweet! My 10 year old is like that too! Boys and their mommies... a special bond. And they love the element of surprise.
