Something Different...

We are going to start a lapbook today about money...something my kids like to talk about how we don't have enough of it.

This is our first lapbook! I saw them before, but didn't understand how they were supposed to work and besides that, I thought they were stupid. Well, the whole idea of surrendering to Gods will in teaching my children, is to do whatever He says.

So, I am actually excited about this. I haven't told the kids yet because they are going to do it together. My son is taking forever cleaning the bathroom. I wanna get started.

Anyhoo, I will post pictures as we go.

Oooo!! Lapbooks are SOOO not stupid! We love them! We have a whole file folder box filled with them. The kids look at them over and over again...until they are falling apart. I have to say that I think they are a very powerful tool for learning.

Enjoy the lapbooking!! I know you'll love it, in your creative fashion. :o) (What a fun topic, too - money!! My kids love money. Hmmm... How are you going to lapbook about money? Talk about being responsible? Tithing? I can't wait to see what you do!!)
