Cornbread and Sara
Posted in Chillaxin
Ok, so we had ribs, broccili, and cornbread for dinner. I finished the ribs and Sara said, "Maaaama are you almost done? MMMM these smell soooo good...I'm about to die and my stomach is growling. Pleeeeease hurry."
She was standing sooo close to the pan, I thought she was going to inhale the BBQ sauce...lol

So she figured if she helped me make the cornbread and broccili, it would speed things up...lol...kids...

After she set the timer, she was ok waiting for another 20 minutes

She is SO cute and precious!!! Oh, by the way, I want to come and have supper at your place, that looked so good! It looks like you have to cook big meals like me. I have my parents, my hubby, 2 kids and myself to cook for and its usually a spread to feed everyone of us.

Girlfriend, so much to post about--has it been that long since I've made it over here, or have you just been that busy on your blog?
I am always in for a treat when I stop here! We should live closer so I could stop over for dinner--those ribs look good!
Happy Birthday to your munchkins. As I wrote, the oldest is turning 13 on Sunday. I guess at that age the want lists all sound alike. Ours asked for CDs, too, but also clothes (the fashion queen), so I have to try and do some surprise shopping for her while she's at dance practice.
It takes me two days to flat iron her hair, so I could so relate to what you were saying about the 6 hours later. My back and several other parts hurt by the time I'm finished. She's been talking about college in these 1-horse towns, and that's the first question I asked: who's going to do your hair? Suddenly, education near a major metropolitan area doesn't sound so bad.
I'm so glad you found me on the blog. How blessed I am!
