Summer is over...
Posted in Good Times!!
...in a couple of weeks. We were going to start school right after Labor Day, but my DH and I have an anniversary on Sept 4th and we are going to my favorite place...ESTES PARK!! We will be there for 2 nights. We have the anniversary package with champagne, roses, chocolates, and rose petals. In addition to that we have a hot tub in the room, a full kitchen for crab and steak, scallops wrapped in bacon, and veggies. Best of all we have some MUCH NEEDED time alone!
On the flip side, I have been busy planning for the new school year....ordering curriculum, planning, revamping everything. I think my brain is fried! but push on, I must.
We did have the blessed privilege of going to the Renaissance Festival this year. We had never been to one, so needless to say it was quite an experience. It was an all day experience! Here are some pics. Enjoy!
Our last family outing for the summer will be to Six Flags on Sept 1st. We were going to go last Saturday but it rained ALL day and the next day. We still had fun cause we went to breakfast and the to the movies to see Space Chimps...funny movie!...then we went to lunch and back to the movies to watch Journey To the Center Of the Earth...fabulouse movie!!!...loved the action!

Ok, Estes park is that in Colorado? If it is the weather ought to be awesome! The pictures of the medeivel (sp?) festival look like so much fun especially you on the camel! I don't know if my husband and kids could have talked me into that or not (money would have had to be involved). It all looks like fun fun fun! Hope you two have a totally spectacular anniversary!
