First week...

Our first week of school went fabulous! Thank ya Jesus! I felt more prepared this year than last year. The kids were cooperative...which was nice and everybody did what they were supposed to. We started our year off with Chocolate...a unit study. We are lovin it and learning stuff. We have made (well they made) Chocolate Almond Brickle and they melted the end of the spoon that they stirred the stuff with...LOL. It was good!! We still have about 2 weeks of study left and more goodies to make. Our book is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I bought the movie, so our last day of the study will be to watch it. This looks GREAT! I love chocolate, and your study sounds like fun. Our local museum did an exhibit on chocolate, and I had no idea how much of a role it played in the wealth and trade of ancient nations.

Just stopping by to check on you and make sure all was okay. God bless, Tirzah. Oh, your feet--HA HA! Only you would think to put a picture of a hurt toe, with a toe ring on the adjacent one, on a blog!! You are too much!
