Welcome to my spot! Here I post about the goings on in my life while serving my King. I pray that you will be blessed and encouraged in the Lord by reading my blog.
I am a 15 year old Christian, saved by God's amazing grace. My ultimate goal is to give glory to God by enjoying Him forever. I am a stay-at-home-daughter, and hope to one day become a godly wife and mother.
I enjoy antiques - especially the ones with a story.

Your memories are held within your heart
And your heart in one of two treasures.
That of the earthly or that of the heavenly;
The Creator of universe measures.
-
Hold not so close the earthly dear
And all that glitters here.
Value that which is worth more
And within your heart keep near.
-
When eternity draws close at hand
And rusting possessions fade
Consider your soul and your eroding land
And "forever's" meaning made.

The past couple weeks have been quite busy with 4-H. We have completed several projects that have been entered into the county fair. Breezy's 4-H projects include a basket, painted illustration, a Christmas card, scrapbook, and two photography entries. My projects include a basket, pickles, cookies, a yoyo wall hanging, perpetual calendar, and two photography entries. It's been quite fun, but getting them all finished was a bit stressful at times.
During the week of the fair, my favorite part is the swine show. When the hogs are let loose, sometimes they run, or hop, around, with their owner following close behind. It's quite a humorous sight. We also like watching the beef show. Now and then a steer will go out of control, but usually it's pretty calm.
Looks like you had a great time! That is a lot stuff to do! I feel like that when I write my GGM articles. I love doing them, but sometimes its a bit stressful!
How are you Girl? Hope to see you and Breezy soon!
Love ya!

I didn't realize you entered so many projects. WOW! No wonder you're tired. Well, catch you breath, relax and do something mindless for a while. Hee hee. :)
Love,
Marie :)
Hi Emily ~ That sounds like so much fun! Both you and your sister did quite a lot of projects! Our county fair is going on right now. My family and I hope to be able to go soon. :-)
Thanks so much for the sweet comment...your blog is absolutely wonderful too. I stopped by to let you know that I have tagged you!! Go to my blog for instructions. Thanks and hope you're having a wonderful day!
I was in 4-H from kindergarten through graduation, and now--being almost done with college--it's been so long that I miss it terribly!
Thank you for the beautiful reminders; they bring back a lot of really fun memories. And please, tell me that I'm not the only one who ever finished projects in the car on the way to the fair?!
