Welcome to my spot! Here I post about the goings on in my life while serving my King. I pray that you will be blessed and encouraged in the Lord by reading my blog.

I am a 15 year old Christian, saved by God's amazing grace. My ultimate goal is to give glory to God by enjoying Him forever. I am a stay-at-home-daughter, and hope to one day become a godly wife and mother.

I enjoy antiques - especially the ones with a story.

Your memories are held within your heart
And your heart in one of two treasures.
That of the earthly or that of the heavenly;
The Creator of universe measures.
-

Hold not so close the earthly dear
And all that glitters here.
Value that which is worth more
And within your heart keep near.
-

When eternity draws close at hand
And rusting possessions fade
Consider your soul and your eroding land
And "forever's" meaning made.

"Wordless" Wednesday - A Wee Toad

Posted in Photographs

This little guy was found in my granny's garden. He hopped around quite a bit, being a toad and all, but now and then he held still enough for me to capture a photo of him.

After the photo shoot was over, he was gingerly placed at the bottom of a plant near the garden, but not without first falling from a great height.

These wee feller's are always so cute to watch, with their small toes, and beady eyes. He was about 3/4 of an inch long, with legs held close. With legs stretched out, I don't know how long he would be, but at least an inch more would be added.

He was quite photogenic.

You like toads, don't you? Or you like taking photos of them, and you do it very well. Caleb and Isaac have been finding toads... I think they've nearly killed a few! lol

Can't wait to see you!

Love

Ahh! I like frogs, we have tiny ones here that I like to go around hunting for at the end of summer, and they love my garden!

Ah, a new look for your blog . . . nice . . . I like the double row of info on the side . . . How did you get the picture beside the writing?
I use to be able to do that on a blogspot account, but I don't know how to make it work here.

That toad is precious. :) Nice shot. I like the angle and black and white look.

Blessings,
Marie :)

Hello Emily!

I enjoy the pictures you have taken and posted on your blog; I also enjoy photography, but unfortunately they don't come out as beautiful with our digital camera!:)
Also, I have two questions. First, if it's not too much trouble, can you give me some basic directions on how to get a new template (from the web, not HSB.) And secondly....how do you add the "signature" at the end of each entry? I have seen this on other sites and would love to add this special touch to my own.
I'd so much appreciate your help.
You have a very nice blog by the way.:)
Through the Cross, Anna

He's to cute hehe I love frogs/toads what's the difference between the two? I found one while walking through our yard and my silly dog tryed to eat him. I had to spank her to get her to let go of him poor thing :( lol. I love your camera I told my dad what camera I was saving up for and how much it was and he said good luck! LOL I love taking pictures and we just don't get good one's with the one we have now, but I'm lucky to have one at all I guess!

Yea, It was so hard for my family to decide to move, I loved where we lived and I acctually cannot stand where we live now, but it was the right thing for us to do, my grandmother is really sick and she needs us to be here to take care of her. Like you said it is all up to the Lord and what He want's ( I ramble to so don't worry about it! ;))
Yes, animals are so easy to get attached to. I go to my local shelter and vollenteer and I try so hard not to get attached, but it's no use I always fall in love with the sickest or smallest ones that I know are not going to last very long and I get so upset every time! You think I would know better by now, but it's impossible not to love animals, for me anyway.
Thank you for letting me know that! I have it covered in the white paper and it's cut where it needs to be the lid was actually alot easier to do than I thought it would be. I just have to get to the Hobby Lobby in town to get the paper I want! I will remember to air it out and I will try to get pictures when it's all done.

What a good picture! He's so cute!

By the way, I love the new template! Surprisingly, I like how the two sidebars are right next to each other!
