Hey, ya'll!  Most of you know, that last night was the final round of Shoals Star IV. Most of the time, we sang two songs each, but last night we sang three.  My first song was 9 to 5 by Dolly Parton.  The judges really liked it.  My second song was "Picture to Burn" by Taylor Swift.  I love that song and so did the judges.  Then I sang "Cowboy Sweetheart".  The crowd went crazy!  I had ribbons to go in my pigtails, but we forgot to put them in.  One judge commented he would have given me a 100, but could only give me 99, because I didn't have ribbons in my hair.  The crowd booed him.  It was funny!  LOL!  They tallied the votes, we were all nervous.  The mc, Teddy, announced all the winners starting with third place.  The woman who had been in first place the last two weeks, finished in third place.  Then I really got nervous.  Then he said that there was only .25 points between 1st and 2nd place.  Then he announced the second place winner, which wasn't me!  Then I thought, I won!!  And I did!  I'm the youngest to ever win Shoals Star!  It was so fun.  I won $200 and a recording session and I get to be a judge for Shoals Star V, I can't wait.  I was also given money by family so I left a lot richer last night.  I am planning to by a new swimsuit, bag, and flip flops from Old Navy for youth camp.  I can't wait to read your comments, thanks for praying for me!!!
